You know, I have been reading Book 6, The Kingdoms of Terror and came upon this passage (230):
"The legend says whoever wields the Lorestone (of Varetta) is the rightful ruler of all the Stornlands."
Where's my crown???
Use this thread to chat about any honours Lone Wolf ha received throughout his adventures (ie FryeEarl of Sommerlund, etc).

I tried to do this a while back, but gave up.
Anyway, here's a start.
Fryearl of the Kai Fryelund - Presented to him for the defeat of Zagarna.
Guard Captain of the Border Rangers - Given at the start of Book 4. Although it's not stated in the book, this was stated in the Monastery Mailbag in Newsletter 7.
Warmarshall of the Royal Estates - Given at the start of Book 9. This was Prince Pelethar's old job, and means that Lone Wolf is second only to the King in terms of commanding the army.
Golden Star of Palmyrion - Given to Lone Wolf by Elector Manatine for his actions in the Plaguelords of Ruel. He was also given a horse - Storm - by the Elector.
These are all I can think of off the top of my head.

It does say you get a captain insignia though, which you can show the innkeeper. At the very end of book 26 (section 350), you're awarded the Cross of Boradon. But it's not Lone Wolf.

Yeah I know that, but it's not stated in the book what rank the badge is. That's what I meant when I said that it's not stated in the book.

"The legend says whoever wields the Lorestone (of Varetta) is the rightful ruler of all the Stornlands." Oh...Lone Wolf is a King.... ;D From my intepretation, the text Lorestone is magical -- it holds a power that can turn an ordinary man into a king is just a symbol of power and wisdom. That is why I never thought about this until I came accross your view. Well, I might just screwed up as English is not my mother-tounge language.

Ah hell, the people of the Stornlands are so busy chopping each other into pieces, they probably don't even know the Lorestone's been found.

It would have been very cool, though, to see this used as part of the Magnakai series. Lone Wolf rides into the Stornlands, claims the throne, and leads its armies against the Darklords! Hard to say where it would have fit, though. Perhaps between Book 9 and 10?

I like that - between 9 and 10, right after he takes out Kimah. If that isn't the conquering King, I can't name better!
