Not a bashing of the books post... a bashing of your least favorite enemy post! Preferably the one you think is the stupidiest, or the most annoying. No poll here, just want to get aty the meaty heart of the subject.
Me? Hm. I know he's in there somewhere. Probably blocked him out. I mean, nearly every human enemy pisses me off. We got Vonotar, Kimah, Roark, the list goes on.
The dwarf in the cave, the one who blows holy hell out of both you and himself, is probably gonna get my vote. For now.
Oh yeah, by the way, heading home for Thanksgiving, no computer, so have good thanksgivings everybody. See you Monday.

The dumbest enemy:
Halvorc - the merchant. Why dumb? Because he just stands there while you hack him up.
What? You say you never attack him? You say it is the priest? Of course it was the priest, but the priest is a really good fighter and I don't have a weapon.
Anyway, I blame it all on Halvorc, son of a dish of porridge.

Hahah, Halvorc is such a [thingy]. I think he might have the lowest combat stats in the entire LW universe. But you can't help but feel really bad about slaughtering the innocent little guy, especially if you already know who your assassin is.
I feel sorry for anyone who attacked one of the White Knights on their first time through the book. Oops.
The only other dumb enemy that comes to mind is that thing at the end of the GS series that you can just ignore. I mean, what the [fudge]?

Funny, I always DO feel really bad for him... then I take him down anyway. I don't recall who I went for the first time I played, although I did try to fight a White Knight once, and boy was I sorry!
Another dumb enemy: a baby ice barbarian swadled into a fur backpack. Lame.

The worst part: you can actually die during your fight with the door.
"Now that Lone Wolf has triumphed over Haakon and undertaken the Magnakai quest, he shall be faced against dangers more dire and deadly than any he has faced before... such as this door."

Dumbest Enemy: Sewer Door CS: 13 EP: 35 Stronger than some of Lone Wolf's living enemies. (Book 6) There's an "ennemy" like that in book 26. It's the cover of Andarin's tomb: CS 50 EP 50 CS 50 !? Is this coffin moving around the room or what?

Andarin's Tomb:
Ha ha, I can see the Kai trying everything on this vault-like door... finally slamming himself against it and knocking himself out, then breaking his neck when he falls on the floor.
Sad, so sad.

And there's that time, I believe in book 4, where you hallucinate some combat and at the end it tells you you did actually sustain all that damage from running into the walls of the mineshaft or whatever.

Dude what's the name of that fungus? I don't remember. It's in the Mines of Maaken somewhere, in book 4.
