But if the context is the original gamebook, then the adventure would still make sense yeah? Or have the adventures been modified to include something to tie in these side adventures? I'd have thought that the adventures would have been based on someone already featuring in the adventure or something else that's related but doesn't occur at the same time of LW's visit, or both? Dunno, I've never read any of them so I don't have any example of them to go by to better understand what they're about and how they're integrated. Some bonus adventures are heavily tied to the main one: The Key to the Future (Gwynian preparing his meeting with LW barely hours before it), Echoes of Lost Light (what happens to LW just after falling into the Shadow Gate in Torgar) and Plague Agent (how the Elder Magi learned about the plague of the Cener Druids)... Some are just based on characters you meet during the main adventure and are not related to the main plot (Tipasa the Wanderer, Sogh of Suentina, Captain Prarg...) and the Dire series (4 adventures) is not at all linked to the main LW series (except for the first adventure, just after LW meets the Dire in Kaag). So it would be hard to make an omnibus of all the bonus adventures because they are so different from one to the other. Like I said earlier, only the Dire series could be good in the omnibus form since it uses the same rules from one adventure to the other.

It seems that all of the mantikore published books (English version a8to 21) are out of print (i.e. not orderable) at their site.
21 I have never seen orderable at all so maybe it hasnt gone out yet.
Anyone knows if mantikore has plans to make new copies of 18 to 20?

They have 22 & 23 listed too, but aren't available yet.
Interesting that they have the Mongoose RPG stuff too.

So is Storms of Chai through Book 32 being released ONLY after Mantikore-Verlag finish with 28?
I know Joe felt like he could capitalize on a built-in fanbase and reintroduce the stories to a new generation but we've been waiting for like a decade now. I haven't purchased the collector's editions because the original stories were just fine by me, only some of the errata and combat difficulties with the Sommerswerd needed adjustment maybe.
Now that Project Aon has released all of the originals up to 28, can't we just get 29 rolled out? Even if it was one book a year, that would be understandable, though I imagine Joe has probably written at least two of the stories.
I hate to sound ungrateful but we've been talking about the 29-32 for several years, I'm sort of waiting on that. I did buy some of the RPG stuff but that was just because I was so starved for more information about Magnamund. With all the printing problems at Mongoose and the delays, the rollout of the new stories seemed to be delayed too.

Ordered 20 and 21 from manticore and they are on their way. Believe they restocked on book 18 to 19 also, but 19 and 20 are already "not orderable" again, and 21 is also "not orderable" again now.
The demand on the books seems to be quite high.

The demand on the books seems to be quite high. Or low volume? Has there been any more talk about the earlier books being redone?

Well, if they plan to publish Grey Star, I guess that they are fairly confident that it will sell well. They wouldn't republish Grey Star if the main LW series wasn't selling well. Most people know about GS because of LW.

Joe posted over on Facebook that the English Collector's versions of Books 22 and 23 should now be available. Also, Book 29 (Storms of Chai) is now available in Italian. As of 54 minutes ago, negotiations with Mantikore have been settled to make an English copy (predicted for Dec. 2015).

Joe posted over on Facebook that the English Collector's versions of Books 22 and 23 should now be available. I think that he meant that they will be made available this year: book 22 is scheduled for May and book 23 for later.

Anyone know if Mantikore-Verlag are looking for authors to write any of the remaining mini-adventures? And if so, how would one go about pitching it to them?

Their contact form on their website: www.mantikoreverlag.de/?page_id=38You can also try to contact Nick Bonczyk with a PM on Facebook. Or you can wait for the guy who started this thread to see your last post! BTW, book 22 has been pushed back to the end of August.
