Honza, Did you re-roll stats, or keep your old ones? As mentioned in various tooltips, if you re-roll your stats, you forfeit all loyalty bonuses - this would include Psi-surge, Curing, Weaponmastery, etc. So, you can't tick it, because it doesn't count anymore! (Mwah hah hah!) >:-> (that's supposed to be an evil face...)
EDIT: I just put a fix in for the clearing the message from the equipment page tooltips, so once you click the "Import Items" button, it will not have that message in the tooltips. I also made a more robust fix for the players with only 3 disciplines - if you reload book 13 from a campaign, you should really get to pick 4, without having to quit and reload.
Also, I incorporated a fix for players like commentator, who have only 3, and are mid-book already. Press the "G" key. This will tell the game that you have NOT finished the opening sections of text. So, you'll be able to pick your 4th Discipline from the Disciplines page. (You should then also re-click the Table of Contents button that says "Click here to begin your adventure...", to tell the program that you *have* finished...) Not the best solution in the world, but a workable one for what will be a small minority of players.
I'll see if I can't get the latest bug-fix release posted tonight...

OK, the latest release is out: 1.13.2 - it fixes all issues mentioned so far... Please ensure you are using the latest before reporting bugs! Thanks!
(I also included a "fix" for the bug that would occasionally rear its ugly head, where you have too many items of a certain type, try to pick something up, are told "You have too many", and then choose to discard, and then you can't pick up the thing you originally went to pick up. The "fix" is to simply tell the player they must discard, but not to give a direct link to the discard menu. They will have to do it via the Action Chart. I think this will prevent the bug. If only it would happen regularly, I could really identify what is going on with it... but it is quite elusive and inconsistent. Alas!)

(Mwah hah hah!) >:-> (that's supposed to be an evil face...) I'm 100% sure I didn't click to stats buttons. My progress during first 12 books was done with 1.12.7 version. I only updated to 1.13.1 and start book 13. Could choose four disciplines, kept old stats, and deleted all superfluous special items (including the Quiver, which IMHO is not necessary...) EDIT: Also in combat skill description are counted bonuses +3 Magnakai Mindblast, +4 Weaponmastery, and +5 Lorecircles...

OK, if those bonuses are showing up, then you should also get the Psi-surge bonus. I think it would be helpful to me to have the resumeX.dat file, so I can take a look directly. Would you mind sending that to me or posting it here?
(You're right about the Quiver - seems silly, especially since you can just pick one up in the equipment section... But, then, it's obviously not irreplaceable like the Bronin Vest, and I'm already stretching the book text by including that!)

But, then, it's obviously not irreplaceable like the Bronin Vest, and I'm already stretching the book text by including that!) I would agree that practically it makes no difference. Also, I think the Bronin Vest was a good addition to the "allowed item" list. You could always simply not equip it if you prefer the original special item limitations. This seems like a easier method than having to program it as an option in the settings. On a very minor aesthetic note, on pg 83 if you choose to use Grand Hunt-mastery, in lieu of a meal, not all the words are visible in the text box.

Thanks - that helped. I've now got things fixed so you can still select Psi-surge/Mindblast (unless you have Kai-surge, which completely replaces Psi-surge) I also fixed the width of the "Use Grand Huntmastery... for a Meal" option.
I'll give another day or so, to see if any other bugs crop up and then I'll post the next fix!

Fantastic word Dave, much appreciated. Jumped into my save game and loaded up Nexus without an issue - it made me feel a lot safer reading though section 350. If there's one thing I've learned it's that I pick the least useful powers by habit; my reprehensible "enhanced game play" as a kid makes more and more sense.

commentator: I'm glad it worked. Honza: Good catch ; Vazhag Chieftan's Sword now correctly counts as a Sword.
I'll get the latest bug-fix out tonight, if possible...

Not wanting to only include a couple of bug-fixes, I went ahead and implemented the "restore to Section 1" idea that's been requested a few times. So, when you click the "Begin adventure" button on TOC (or Kai Wisdom page), it will save your spot in a temporary file (the file will be deleted when you either progress to the next book, or restart the book from the very beginning). If you die, or if you just want to start over - you can select "Start at section 1" - it's actually the next default option selected, if available (it doesn't show up as an option, if there is no section 1 save point.)
So, in about 25 minutes from this post (time to upload all files), you should be able to benefit from both the fixes and the new feature!
----------
EDIT: Ok, it's up now. Please ensure you are running the latest version before posting bugs, etc. Thanks!

Version 1.13.3, transporting old character. When transfering to GM, I didn't choose Kai Surge, and then I looked to Magnakai disciplines list - you know, to see if you fixed the bug It is OK, I can tick and untick Psi-surge, but now I cannot choose neither Kai, nor GM disciplines list - the buttons "K" and "G" don't work. EDIT: when I restart the program, the GM list is chosen by default, but even when I click "K", the program choose "M" instead. (The weaponmastery switcher "M" and "G" is working OK.)

Doh! Sorry about that! When you go to a different page and then back to disciplines page, does it show the GM disciplines then? I guess we're still having some growing pains with the GM series... I'll look into it soon.

Not able to check it now, I'm in the middle of BTB run...
Which leads to: prodigy, 1.13.3, book 9 section 128 (Kimah fight with Sommerswerd) - I equipped Anarian Senate's mace, but didn't get a bonus vs attacker of Tahou, which Kimah IMHO is...
EDIT: When I go to a different page and then back to disciplines, it shows GM disciplines. But I still can't choose "K". Everytime it jumps to "M".
Just a question, in prodigy mode in book 13, you *have to* repick CS and EP? Because now the buttons are red (mandatory), not blue.

Yes, mandatory re-roll in prodigy. You lose the "loyalty bonuses", but are still going to be largely over-powered, once you pick kai-surge, weaponmastery, and add in equipment bonuses, and the GM advancement bonus...
So, correct: "blue" buttons means it's a choice, and "red" buttons means it's mandatory. I'll check that mace, too, when I get home...
Thanks for the excellent bug reports, as always, Honza!
