I was wondering if anyone has ever taken the Lone Wolf world of Magnamund and recreated it an open world sandbox game? (like Fabled Lands) I personaly would preffer a single hard bound volume similar to the size of many Modern RPG Manuals. That divided map element of Fabled lands I found infuriateing. It was like being held back by an iron gate that you could see through to the other side but could not get through.
Alternatively a secondary idea is that Magnamund would be recreated as an old school text adventure like Zork.
I do not know if any attempts to create these have ever occured before but it they did shoot me some links!

I am not one for the paper role playing, I like computers for that but could you imagine a well-funded and developed sandbox world for Magnamund? You could be a Casiorn(ian?) merchant establishing your trade with the Coppersmiths of Shadaki, or a Brotherhood (or independently operating) magician sort of protecting Kai Lords as backup when you're not on your own missions, using "Mend" to heal torn clothing for fees to fund your journeys. It would be great. Even a KNights of the Old Republic sort of game but with Magnamund would be nice.
Imagine being the second Magnamundian to be transported to Avaros and seeing high-technology everywhere and the fight to get back?
