From Joe's post on facebook, this is the current 5-year plan for a complete Holmgard Press release of books 1-32:

Fantastic, finally the full Sejanoz! I hope he'll be sending the manuscripts to someone here for sanity checks before publishing. Would be nice for these to be the definitive editions and not to have to rebuy 1-22 again lol. You can see what I assume will be books 1 through 10's cover art here: albertodallagoart.blogspot.co.uk/

I think Joe is printing the second print in July (Assuming there are no copies of the first run left) Duk3 He said that in his latest email. But he isn't currently taking orders.

You can see what I assume will be books 1 through 10's cover art here: albertodallagoart.blogspot.co.uk/Hadn't seen a lot of those, they're fantastic, very evocative and depict the books really well, the style is very flowing and reminds me a lot of some of the better Red Fox covers. I really like how he doesn't show Lone Wolf's face and keeps him as a hooded figure, creates a mysterious air to the books and allows the reader to put themselves into the scene a little easier. The remade maps should be a real treat too, I picked up a few of the Mongoose editions recently, and I'm really not too impressed with the maps, the printing seems "muddy" and the text is hard to read.

I got book 29 in. I think that's the thickest gamebook I've ever seen. I have not started reading it yet, but it looks like it could take a while when I start.

Is the new book longer than the customary 350 sections?

Is the new book longer than the customary 350 sections? The main adventure is still 350 sections, the book itself is thick (I think the sections are longer on average).
For example, the original Kai/Magnakai series by Redfox and Beaver had each book around 1/2 inch thick, with the New Order Books being around 3/4 of an inch thick on average).
The reprints by Mongoose and Mantikore seem to average around an inch in thickness.
Storms of Chai is around 2 inches thick.

I believe that's why Joe decided to do it, just because of the extra size / quality it could offer

I believe that's why Joe decided to do it, just because of the extra size / quality it could offer It's also nice to be able to detach it from the book rather than having to flip back and forth to refer to the map.

The map is beautiful I agree but I fear over time the dust covers will become very raggidy!
