For example I click on book 1, there is a button to download the book. I click it and after a few seconds get the download failed message, unable to automatically download zip file. But I do have the 01fftd.zip in the \books\book1 folder. I have the books saved to Documents\Seventh Sense\data\books.

Really weird with the html files not being recognized. I'm also not sure how that and the download failing for whatever reason could be related. Is it the same with the New Order books, which use the latest Project Aon files? Try one thing: Right click the .exe or shortcut -> 'Run as administrator'.

Yes if I hit start get the "Need Zip File", and I already have it running as admin.

I installed it and it detects the books. Very strange. I have to think about how that makes sense, but hopefully there will be a work-around in the next patch.

The books still show the download tab, but if I select one and click accept it allows me to play the book. Also do you plan to add some of the missing features to the later versions of seven sense, such as the extended combat skill table from Daves version?

Also do you plan to add some of the missing features to the later versions of seven sense, such as the extended combat skill table from Daves version? It shows the download button if you do not have at least one cover. If you want you can download them manually like you did with the books. I PM'd you the link. The Extended Combat Results Table was removed as part of the streamlined Gameplay Rules. Nowadays, I am sceptical against rules that are not part of a rule-set. (defaults to Custom rules) Between the Hall of Fame, the awards, and the new Hardcore, a significant majority of the interesting features in the game, and nearly 100% of new features, are locked behind the actual rule-sets. Custom rules made more sense back when that wasn't the case, if even then. The Extended CRT, even among those removed, is pretty uninteresting. It makes the game easier, that's about it. Kind of the opposite of what you want for an interesting option most of the time. All that being said, everything is still available from settings.txt in Documents\Seventh Sense, for now... (EXTENDED_CRT 1)

I like the extended CRT since it is more realistic as opposed to having an arbitrary cutoff beyond which you don't earn any additional Combat Skill advantage in a fight. But yeah, it doesn't really matter because the outcome of any fights affected by it are preordained anyhow.
