Kickstarter link:
The books are being released in both English and Swedish, with hardback and softback editions of all 4 books being funded at once.
Joe Dever has made some minor edits to the series to update the background to make more sense given the current modern world and timeline, it is now set in 2033.
It is already well on its way to being funded, looks like it will be really good quality and the new artwork is amazing.

Don't forget to mention this: if the campaign reaches 200,000 SEK (that's approx. 25,000 $USD), a RPG will be made based on the FW series!

As one of the world's biggest FW fans, I am gutted I never heard about this (not even from all the other gamebook KS campaigns I have backed in the last few years), especially as it was by just a few days!!! I also kinda wish I'd known about it since I'd have reached out to the campaign devs regarding the fact that I've already added hundreds of new sections to the books in my own "expanded edition" project a few years back.

I don't use Facebook, but would seriously consider making an account just to keep tabs on this project (wow, FW would make me do something I've always vowed not to do! LOL!). However, without a way to be part of it (not even being able to leave KS comments is painful!), I would just be crying every time I saw an update knowing I'd not be getting it myself. Sure, the books will be in stores someday (hopefully!) but it's all the extras that I'd really want too. I mean, even more than Lone Wolf (which is positively "mainstream" by comparison!), how often can one expect to find Freeway Warrior posters, merchandise and collectables ever available?

So? Is it a good edition, worth ordering it? The Swedish shop is kinda hard to navigate.

So, I finally started started book 1 and I really like the work Askfageln put into it. I really recommend it alone on the quality. Book 3 is about to be printed. This is my first play of Freeway Warrior, so I am still unsure if I like the rules. The Mad Max setting is good though.
