I have that 'Art of Lone Wolf' book on Gary's lulu page and the quality is terrible. I know Joe was very particular about quality and having control over this so perhaps that's the reason for not going with a print on demand service (though I agree this would still be better than nothing).

I'm not copyright or publishing expert (I merely pretend to be one on TV) but I think we know from the story of the last 15 years (and it pains me to say, Joe really did create the greatest fantasy setting of all time, IMO) is that getting LW content out there is a struggle. I contrast this with Warhammer, which is now extending itself into RPG, with a universe they already killed off.
Why not sell the bonus adventures and maybe FFtD as ebooks or PDFs? Or even just quick paperback runs from Amazon? I gladly paid to have Joe's signature in Storms of Chai (thank goodness I did) I mean, if I buy the collector's on Ebay, it'll cost hundreds for print run that often had errata, and Joe's family, the artists, etc get none of that.
And it's not like they're holding up for some magnificent deal that's about to come out if we just wait. It'll always be like this (until it isn't.) Can we get new fans? Sure, we have. But others are aging out of large investments in RPG material (maybe they'll keep their originals.)
It's sort of like the aborted Lencia and Telchos trilogies. You can't even FIND those books. Why not put them on Amazon self-pub or on ebook?
Meanwhile Warhammer chugs along. I'm still stunned that Joe couldn't break into TT gaming, or maybe he just wasn't into it anymore, because it's clear that many people playing TW: Warhammer and Vermintide, etc. and still buying miniatures are a built-in fanbase.
And much of that was developed in the 00s, when Joe was making his video game and reprint push.
I don't need a hardcover, I'll buy the map products separately (gladly) but I just want the stories. I think I speak for all of us when I say what we wanted was 29-32. I understand a marketing strategy to grow the fanbase, make some additional income, etc. But I think it's past that point. Just get this material out there. I feel like the stutter-stop attempts at certain products have actually harmed the overall cultivation of new fans.

IMHO, sell your collector edition books while they still have value. Unless your a "Die Hard" fan, in which case you'll keep them until your dead.
At BEST we'll get a low quality self-pub like Gary's lulu book or an eBook farmed out to the lowest bidder.
I have no pleasure in saying any of this, as I grew up with Lone Wolf like many of you. But, Ben is not his father. Joe was Lone Wolf and Millennials or Gen Z youngsters are not buying books anymore. The Age of Books has been over for sometime as we are the last of his fan base. Like the Tolkien Elves, all we can do is "get on a boat and sail away".
