We'll find out what happens to Shard after she survived the sewers of Vassagonia and was knocked unconscious by Maouk.

she survived the sewers of Vassagonia and was knocked unconscious by Maouk. Woa, that's the secret route through the book, it requires a very specific path and having AK plus an item. Normally it's one or the other - either you get captured or go through the sewers. Probably worth some achievements. I'm really busy with other stuff and super-behind on everything but I'll catch up via vods eventually. Not sure if I'll be around Sunday or not.

Would you consider a couple things for next session in book 6? I love book 6 but it could be vastly improved with some additional paths:
- Let her check out Castle Taunor as well if she so wishes (make the Bronin Warhammer real nice, perfect Dwarf weapon!), then move onto Denka Gate so she gets to do all 3 of those events. - Let her get to Tekaro via road - through Amory or the mountain pass through the Ceners south of Soren. Maybe make them really dangerous considering they are non-intended paths through the book. There's that rockslide that's mentioned, it could be a thing. Obviously she'll have to escape capture in Amory or find a way around the town, but make it at least possible. Always hated that dead-end. - Allow for entry to Tekaro via the battle with the Captain. Also hated how you're railroaded to the sewers. I guess put a different endboss in if she survives the siege battle. Or make the Dakomyd be in the Lorestone chamber.

Just seeing this now, but it's an appropriate time to respond. I agree about the many cool things that can be missed in Book 6. But I also like how quickly the quest can be derailed and so unexpectedly! So what I did is I made it a percentage chance: each time Lone Wolf leave Cyrilus, there is a 30% chance he is taken. In our case, she rolled an 8 or something really low on her first roll so he was sadly taken after the arrow competition. I agree about getting to Tekaro via the road. I think it was Joe testing how much you are paying attention (that Roark dude's from Amory!) but I'll come up with something if she chooses this. I actually like that you can't do the siege. It would just be too improbably to survive it and there's this overall sense that the outcome of the battle is inevitable: these men will die, and Lone Wolf can either die with them or continue on her quest. This is going to be even more effective in my version, I'm making one major change to the captain... I do agree about the sewers being pretty lame, though. That will change a lot.

Okay! Finished with today's adventure! I did actually end up using the castle of taunor and the village... I just had her pass through them on her chase of Roark's men!

Hi Zipp, I've slowly been catching up here and there on the Project Aon boards and just read through these posts. I'd love to one day run a D&D campaign in Magnamund myself. Just wondering if you've posted notes on how you implemented the Kai monk class in D&D. I've started watching the first episode and you go into it a bit, but would be interested to see how you implement all the Kai abilities into D&D rules. On a similar note, I found this article recently: www.tribality.com/2015/01/05/the-kai-monks-of-sommerlund-for-5th-edition/Keep it up, this is awesome!

Hey, Timbit! Sorry for the late response, I am relocating cities and was apartment hunting with my wife in the destination city. That's a really cool article! I like the way they handled the class conversion and would use it if I weren't already locked into a conversion. My conversion is by no means meant to be an official one: I'm playing very "off the cuff" with it. Basically, I look at each discipline as adding spell-like abilities to the base class of Ranger (or whatever my player is playing at the moment) and pick from among available spells to make up the abilities. It's nowhere near clean or playtested enough for me to want to post it as an official attempt at conversion. Like I said, the guy at your link does a much cleaner job of it. Ours serves our purpose though More episodes are up, I'm updating the front page now.

This is very cool! I made a similar thing with my friends but we used the rpg from cubicle7 and played books from 1 to 5. It was a blast and I plan to do that again

Just letting you know Episode 8 was posted a while ago (I forgot to update!)
We are way behind in posting the episodes (Chasm of Doom), but the live stream is powering along! We are halfway through Castle Death and should be finishing Castle Death next Saturday, 11:00am PST.
