Wasn't Dead in the Deep released in Italian? I fully understand that they're not doing just a flat translation, they're recreating the feel (as much as they can) of Joe's style in English, but how could they release it in Italian if the English was months away? Am I wrong about something here? Good to hear news though. I guess if they're making their own publishing company that is a bit different than just trying to get a book out. Book 30 will not be launched till next year. It is time to take up Italian as my 3rd language and be able to read the Italian version to Charlie Brown...

Directly from Ben Dever today on the official Lone Wolf Facebook page: Aaargh!! I knew it! It was too good to have LW31 ready for this November... Oh well, at least they are still working on it. All hopes are not lost. I am one of those fortunate enough to have LW30 book in Italian edition. It is kinda strange that the English version is not ready yet, but my only concern is to wait for everybody before discussing the strategy / walkthrough. Thank you for the update, much appreciated.

One of the problems I often see with projects of this nature is that the base is excited, enthusiastic, but often impatient and easily prone to anxiety due to long bouts of silence. In the past many such efforts (which often included fan projects to resurrect or update old time adventure or RPG games for free) would often attract 'IS IT DONE YET' type comments, when often it wasn't. Its hard for fans to know or understand the difficulties in a process if the comments are opaque. Yet at the same time persistent updates can be time consuming even when there IS stuff to report (often there may not be for long bouts of time.) I bring this up simply to caution people to be patient. ITs very easy for individual fans, collectively and unknowingly, to end up harassing people simply out of enthusiasm (I've done so unintentionally myself.) The best thing you can do is simply be patient and wait and not give into panic or anxiety, as hard as that may be for some people. As far as 'why can't they just import Joe's old site to a new one' or something like that.. its hard to say since I'm neither an expert on website design/creation, nor am I a legal expert (I do know things pertaining to the internet and copyright can be amazingly complicated and in many ways are 'broken' which is why you have to be cautious. I'm sure those involved with the projectaon site have a VERY good idea of the perils and pitfalls of copyright and other legal hassles) It could also be something as simple as access. There was a blog I was a very avid follower of that some time back had the author die. The blog had been intended to continue but nobody could do it on the original because the passwords and other access data had died with the owner and no records could be found. For all we know the same might be true there. (I doubt it, but it sounds like its just more boring, tedious and mundane stuff all tied up with creating a successful, proper business. Which can itself be time consuming as hell if you don't want to just rush into it taking risks.) I'm glad to hear things are still progressing and I'm sure it will come out in time. The best thing we can do to support them is simply be patient and understanding and try not to get pushy with any of them. Aftr all if it wasn't for their support we wouldn't have projectaon would we?

Great news! The opening of ye olde (renew) shop of the Kai is nearing.
Masters of the Kai Order are known for their great patience, 41 years here, 31 reading.
The waiting is ending...
For sommerlund and the Kai!

This is fantastic news. Be great to read a new Lone Wolf gamebook. Even if I have to wait a year I don't care.

Just frustrating when told a date, then you check back and STILL nothing. Tell me if it's gonna be another 6 months and I won't check so often (like old Georgy boy, bless him).

My guess? It will open either on the day of the Feast of Fehmarn (March 21st) or April 1st (the same date when Joe announced the publication of Book 29).

Happy Feast of Fehmarn!
Would be a very cool nod to fans of the series for the webstore to open today, even if it was only (briefly) for preorders.

A small change to magnamund.com today, you can now enter an e-mail address to be notified of the opening. Baby steps, but at least a sign that things are possibly happening behind the scenes.

Looking forward to placing a pre-order for Dead In The Deep (title of which reminds me of Doom 1) . Episode 1 - Knee-Deep In The Dead, yup. I don't care about having a physical copies of 29-32 but I do want to read them (and willing to pay to do so) so hopefully there will be a digital solution at some point. I normally don't read at all, what's the go-to iTunes/Google Play equivalent these days for books?
