Book X: The Dungeons of Torgar
Dungeons of Torgar is quite a well balanced book that I felt did most things right. It gives you a real choice of how to actually get to Torgar, most of the fights offer some way to avoid them, and although there are some tough enemies you can encounter throughout the adventure, it seldom feels impossible for LW to overcome the obstacles placed in front of him.
The difficulty really comes from the fact that Book 11 is a bit of a nightmare, and because you definitely cannot access safekeeping between Books 10 & 11, a bit of inventory preparation is required. It is a good idea to bring some strong healing potions as well as some alether (and the concentrated alether in particular). I would use one of your Laumspur potions in Book 10 if you are running very low on EP, as the Drakkarim Captain can be a worthy opponent for a weak character.
Because you possess the ‘Swerd, the path below is recommended. This path does have more enemies than other routes, but they are far weaker and even a minimum stats character can run through this adventure fairly easily by following this path. That being said, it is worth playing the adventure again to experience the two other main routes. The battle with the Baron and his minions was an interesting chance of pace, as was the encounter with your old nemesis from Book 6.
Obviously this solution relies on the previous solutions being followed, the one covering Book 9 can be found here. It also relies on LW being able to access safekeeping at the beginning of this adventure, something that some players rule against.
