I stumbled over two situations that need rule interpretation.
1. A group fight against an enemy, where I only loose half EP, due to my companion taking half of the damage (book 8).
If I were at a low enough level of CS that I would suffer an instant death result on my side, what would I do?
Instant death is instant death, so: death, or halve my remaining EP?
I did not get into this situation, as I was armed, the question sprung up, when programming the combat resolution.
2. When taking up a weapon for a fight storywise (my companion's magical sword against a certain enemy in book 8).
Would I need to drop one of my weapons to use that sword?
It is not explicitly stated that I mark that sword on my action sheet, and I am giving that sword back later, or so it is implied.
Similar to that a situation in book 5 where I can pick up a sword dropped by an enemy (in the prisoner's cell).
I am using a four weapons or weaponlike special items houserule, so the situation was theoretical for me (I did however leave my spear lying in the banquet hall - during the flight after the fight, carrying a sword in hand, my companion over my shoulder, yeah, no time to pick up that spear. But I am unlucky at keeping my polearms anyway...)

My interpretation is: 1. If your cs is low and you get instant death, it's game over. 2. If you get Paido's sword, you can use it for that fight only. No need to lose 1 weapon. then you give it back when combat ends. Instead in book 5 you can keep the sword dropped by the gaoler. I use the android apps as reference.
