A few years back I turned out a short series of Game Books set in the world of Lone Wolf for my Nephew, a Hard Drive crash killed my Digital copy and the kids mother threw out the copies I had printed for him. being a high functioning Dyslexic my hand written notes (that where incomplete anyway) are little more than chicken scratch even to me, so the books are now lost.
I'm thinking of just writing a series just for me so I can say I've done it again to assure my self that what I did in the past wasn't just lightning in a bottle.
For the Players Character I'm going to use a Wytch Chyld like first appeared in the D20 RPG. in place of Disciplines the Character will have access to the five "Good" Ritual Paths, "Voice of Power", instead of just having "Magical Weapon" their will be "Mystic Crafts" that lets them make their own magical weapons, Power Stones, Wytch Keys and Ritual Tools. but really for the scope of the books just give them a magical weapon, two more abilities not found in the D20 RPG class will be a "Psychic Discipline" and a "Counter Spell" and I'll tease a capstone ability of "Forbidden Knowledge".
the Character will also have access to a short list of Skills, all will be useful and include "Arcaniam" (Magical Theory), Occult, Alchemy, Healing and Magic Item use.
the Character will start at third rank, they get one Ability per Rank and one skill at each even numbered rank.
1st book will be about escaping from their home before they are discovered by agents of the Wytch King
2nd book will have them trying to find a safe place and stumble across the first of the Witch Stones (Te McGuffin of the Books) that offer them the knowledge and power to protect themselves from the Minions of the Wytch King
3rd-6th books will have them hunting down the other Wytch Stones
7th book will have them go on their "Forbidden Knowledge" search and confront an enemy they made in the first book, at the end they will have a revelation that there are a collection of now lost ritual paths and a collection of Wytch Stones that contain the forgotten knowledge (a tease for books 8+) and a posible way to defeat the Wytch King.
