How far is this epilogue (The Passing of the Shianti) canon? It names some events that are actually confirmed as canon in LW 21 & 22,(i.e. Grey Star becoming in the new ruler of the lands that shaped the old Shadakine Empire, and Shasarak being defeated and banished), but it also tells that after Shasarak's defeat, the Godess Ishir apperead herself to Shianti on the Isle of Lorn and took them to live with her in Plane of Light as inmortal and ethereal beings (so they basically disappeared fully from Magnamund) ; this clearly contradicts with the final of LW 22 were the New Order GM reaches the island and delivers the Moonstone to the Shianti, so what's happening here?

Maybe the Shianti forgot to tell the cleaners they were leaving?

It doesn't contradict anything: the Shianti left the Isle of Lorn, as mentionned in book 29, and that book is set after the demise of Shasarak. The epilogue doesn't state how much time passed between the end of GS4 and the passing of the Shianti.

Sorry, I haven't readed LW 29 since currently is out of print and that does it much more expensive, I'll have to wait 'til be published on PA.

According with LW Wiki the epilogue is situated in MS 5088, in wich year is situated The Storms of Chai? lonewolf.fandom.com/wiki/War_of_the_Wizards:_walkthrough

Book 29 is set in MS 5102 but at the beginning of the book, there is a Timeline of Notable Events in Magnamund which indeed states that the Shianti left Magnamund in MS 5088:
"The Shianti left the Isle of Lorn to reside with Goddess Ishir on the Plane of Light. Their final act upon Magnamund was to bequeath their island to the Order of the Kai. The handover was facilitated by their emissary, Grey Star."
The Epilogue wasn't part of the original publication of the book but was published in the Lone Wolf Club Newsletter No. 7, but as you can see, there is no contradiction. It does also opened the door for a sequel to the original GS series ("And so ends the chronicle of the first quest of the Wizard Grey Star").
