Something in Dead In The Deep doesn't make any sense at all to me.  If possible can someone tell me how it make sense? or does it make no sense or is it Ben and Vincent's way of discreetly hinting at something that in Book 31 or 32 could be used to disguise yourself as a member of The Mercenary Force known as The Durncrag Predators that now serve The Forces of Evil

At paragraph 276 The Corvayl Leather Gauntlets cost 18 Gold Coins and The Padded Leather Waistcoat costs 12 Gold Coins but The Black Corvayl Cloak costs 25 Gold Coins, which means that despite having no effect on your stats costs a lot more then cost of The Corvayl Leather Gauntlets, costs more then double the cost of The Padded Leather Waistcoat and costs only very close to their combined

Normal corvayl leather vs black corvayl leather. Rare quality means higher price. You should buy the gloves anyway...
