Why the New Order Grand Master doesn't have one? In the section 100 of Mydnight Hero, he/she tries to hide from the tiger-head shrine, but is quickly detected because of the goodly aura that radiates his/her Kai Weapon. So I wonder: why Lone Wolf didn't give a Korlinium Scabbard to each one of his Grand Masters? After all they're just five at this time.

It is a little-known fact that a Korlinium Scabbard can only be obtained after killing a legendary Korlinium under a full moon. Now, not only do legendary Korlinia make up an endangered species, they have an average CS of 78.5. Quite frankly, Lone Wolf would rather Netflix and chill in the Vault of the Sun.

Well, then Lone Wolf could have lended his own to GM, i don't think that he would need it while he's at the Monastery, since without the Moonstone power Naar cannot send his champions to Magnamund anymore, so LW wouldn't have need to hide the powers of the Sommerswerd.

I guess it gets a little to plot points, but the only real answer would have to come down to the rarity of the stuff. It has been a long while since I've had time to re-read the series and review my notes, but the only Korlinium I recall is the K. Scabbard, K. Satchel, and maybe some very other small usages. Perhaps it is a close cousin to Unobtainium.
Otherwise if it is even remotely available, it's a plot hole.

On a more serious note, not all Kai Weapons are swords. I have a hard time imagining a scabbard for a war axe, korlinium or not.

Well, in book 26 is stated that there are pretty huge amounts of this mineral in the deepest levels from the Kingdom of Bor, but the dwarven popular lore forbides such a deep mining for fear of awakening Shom'zaa an his minions.
