Just for a laugh I've taken a fairly large number of things that you can acquire in Lone Wolf Book 29 that I'd allow A Player to get in A Lone Wolf RPG and converted them in a way that they could be used in A Fighting Fantasy RPG. Here they are. What do you think?
Potions that are herbal and not magical
1 or more potions of Lamuspur
They all hold 1 dose that when drank each restore 2D3+4 Stamina
1 potion of Tazheng
It will cure almost all poisons and cures all that aren’t Deamonic
Actual Herbs, plants and flowers
1 Tincture of Sabito Root -using it allows the drinker to extract oxygen from the water by absorbing it through The Skin, which allows him/her/it to Breathe Underwater for up to 1D2+1 hours
1 dose of Alether Herbs
This dose can only be used just before a fight and if you use it then for that fight they give the user +1 Skill and he user does +1 damage
Drinks
3 1-pint bottles of Rice Wine
They all hold 2 doses that when drank all restore 1D2+3 Stamina
3 1-pint bottles of Water
They all hold 2 doses, no rules as such but there are times when it is so hot that I must drink 1 pint of water or lose Stamina
1 2-pint bottle of Bottled Chian Tea
It holds 4 doses that when drank all restore 1D2+3 Stamina
1 2-pint bottle of Moyturan Brandy
It is a tall bottle that holds a potent dark green liquid, it is 1 of Sommerlunds Best Brandies and it holds 4 2 doses that when drank all restore 2D2+3 Stamina
Loot
Valuables
1,000 Copper Coins of A Type called Ren that are worth a total of 10 Gold Coins, 145 Gold Coins, 5 very large very high Quality Doomwolf Pelts that are worth 8 Gold Coins each and 1 large Queen Piece from A Samor Set that is carved from very high quality ivory and inlaid with very good quality Jade that is worth 1,500 Gold Coins
Magic stuff
The Kai Sword Valiance
VS most Foes The User gain +1 Skill and does +1 damage and VS Spellcasters, foes that attack with magic weapon and foes that were summoned by and/or created by and/or animated by Spells or magic rituals The User gain +2 Skill and does +2 damage
1 dose of Karmo
To work it has to be drank at the start of a fight and for that 1 fight The Drinker counts as having double The Stamina he/she/it has and this can potentially his/her/its initial Stamina, but sadly only for 1 fight
1 Wardstone
It only works against Undead but it reduces their Skill as follows. +3 VS Lesser Undead, +2 VS Moderate Undead such as Wights and +1 Skill VS Liches, Vampires and Undead Versions of Giants, Dragons, Dragon Turtles and Krakens
Kenga’s Ring
It makes the user immune to losing Skill and/or Stamina from Wights, Wraiths, Liches and Vampires and reduces the losses to Skill and/or Stamina from Cursed Items
