Hi,
I've been DMing a Lone Wolf game with a second player playing Banedon: bit.ly/SMORPG-LS13
They are close to arrive to the gates of Holmgard. You may remember this place where he has to choose which way to arrive Holmgard:
1- the King's Highway
2- the graveyard
3- the river
They are resting quite a little bit longer than the original Lone Wolf. And I'm quite tempted to block their pass through the King's Highway telling them "ok, you're late. The Darkness Forces are quite over the road. Choose betwee the river or the graveyard".
My hidden reason is because I'm trying to avoid such a double accident with both horses if they choose the road.
But... What if If do let just one of the horses loose its horseshoe. And I let them decide which one rides the spare horse to arrive ASAP to Holmgard (Lone Wolf I assume).
I may let him go fast to the first stop on this part of the way to Holmgard's gates: the bandits at the bridge
And then let Banedon choose between the graveyard and the river
