Now here's the aforementioned cover illustration for book 4 for the 5th edition of the LW series in French. I got confirmation from Scriptarium that it is indeed Djib that did the last two covers.

Here's Die Rache des Sejanoz (Sejanoz' Revenge, i.e. The Hunger of Sejanoz) from Mantikore, currently announced for May 2023: That's interesting as I've found out that this one seems to be the work of "Elementi.Studio" ( link) instead of Slobodan Cedic, unless he works for that studio?

Alberto Dal Lago revealed on his blog the new cover artwork for book 23 (in Italian, but will probably be reused for the DE when the time comes). EDIT: Vincent Books has released the full cover.

Updated with: Åskfågeln 10 Gallimard 4 5 Vincent Books 22 23 Mantikore 28 Holmgard Press 28 Gallimard covers good as usual, and an excellent Mydnight Hero's cover by Dal Lago. I assume it's the Bavazanur unless anyone knows different, though it's a bit more wolf like than Brian William's illustration (but then it's not commented on either way in the text). Cheers Palarran, Black Cat. There is full sized Gallimard 4/5 art available at Djib's artstation:

Doubtful, he has his own 99designs page: 99designs.co.uk/profiles/1253957Think it's someone new. Actually the last Einsamer Wolf book I can confirm Slobodan did was 25. Here's Die Rache des Sejanoz (Sejanoz' Revenge, i.e. The Hunger of Sejanoz) from Mantikore, currently announced for May 2023: Palarran, do you own the mantikore editions? If would you be able to check who is credited for 26/27 please?

There is full sized Gallimard 4/5 art available at Djib's artstation: He also has a blog where he shows his sketches. It's great to see his WIP of the most recent covers (sketches of book 5 coming soon). Glad to see you back! I was wondering if anything had happened to you after your last few months of silence.

Ah, that's a great cover too. Sounds like he has a great editor, her suggestion of going for the moment they realise the wall is not actually a wall is cooler to me. The V5 blog is up too: pagesblanches.over-blog.com/2022/07/le-tyran-du-desert-loup-solitaire.htmlI was quite ill for a couple of weeks around easter, and then got covid after that, which got me out of my usual rhythm. Thanks for asking.

Man, I really appreciate you putting this together. I'm not sure if you're interested, I put up some high res pictures of some of the 1st edition covers over on this site: fantasyfanatic.art/gallery/tag/Lone+WolfAlso, goes without saying, if anyone has an extra Lone Wolf or Legends of Lone Wolf cover art floating around, I may know someone who would be interested in adding it to the collection

Horne did covers for the Legends of Lone Wolf series, it might worth a try to ask him if he did some covers for the gamebook series. After all, the Legends came out in 1989, around the same time than the two unknown covers for the gamebooks.

I tried to contact Daniel a while back a couple of times to see if I could purchase a print of a couple of his LOLW covers, unfortunately I never got a response. He doesn't appear to have been active on facebook/twitter etc for a couple of years either. Still, I wouldn't expect it to be him as Daniel normally clearly signs his covers, and there are three years between the American releases of Castle Death and Eclipse of the Kai, but yeah, wasn't able to get in touch.

Daniel Horne does not have any unsold lone wolf pieces unfortunately, but he is a very nice gentleman. It's actually likely he does not have a high-res copy of his lone wolf art. I could ask him, but I'd suspect that is the case given the date range that these were painted. That is partly why I think it's so important to try to find any originals still out in the wild. I found the PAJ piece on ebay recently of all places. I was happy I could bring it home as it were
