I'm just going to assume that any answer to the question, "When?" will be some variation of "Eventually, but it's going to be a while." As I understand it, first up is publishing the "Definitive" editions of at least books 1 - 22, the Collector's and/or Definitive expanded version of Book 28 and then the conclusion to the main Lone Wolf saga with book #32. Is that correct? Not entirely. We have plans to publish spin-offs intercalated between some of the DEs. Autumn Snow is one among those spinoffs - to be thus released during the second part of the Grand Master series obviously. Holmgard being such a small company, to make precise predictions of the schedule would be hazardous, but that's the plan. And now you guys have evoked LW28... no one asked, but I'm very happy to tell you that we have just finished our work on LW28 Collector Edition. An expanded version, with 350 sections and a bonus adventure! The layout starts next week and the release is imminent.

]I think one thing that needs to be clarified is the format of book 32: currently, books 29-31 are listed as "First Edition" but they have the size and shape of the CE (they even have BA in two of them!). From what I understand, they will also be eventually released as DE. So, book 32, will it be first released in its FE/CE format and then in its DE form? Both versions at the same time? Only as a DE? I know the release is far away but surely this has been already discussed at Holmgard Press. It IS currently discussed actually... and not definitely decided, sorry for disappointing. One thing I know is that we're currently working on this book with Ben.

I just found it kind of odd that Holmgard started publishing the Collector's Editions of the New Order books with #23.

What happened with books 21 and 22? I just found it kind of odd that Holmgard started publishing the Collector's Editions of the New Order books with #23. A little history: -The CE set was started by Mongoose but they published only the first 17 books. -German publisher Mantikore Verlag picked up the rights for subsequent books, starting with book 18. -Joe announced that Cubicle 7 was going to republish the whole series in CE format, so Mantikore lost the publishing rights after making books 18 to 22. -One month later, Cubicle 7 backed off. Joe decides to launch Holmgard Press which continued the publication of the CE series with the next book on the list, book 23. So yeah, I have a full CE set (only missing book 28, 29-31 are considered First Edition even if they have the same format) but it was published by 3 different publishers.

Publishing weirdness. Is Holmgard going to publish some version of Books 21 and 22? Preferably the Collector's Edition. Currently prices I've seen for Book 21 are not quite $1000 for a copy. Which is... a touch steep.

Is Holmgard going to publish some version of Books 21 and 22? Preferably the Collector's Edition. Forget the CE, they are gone for good. What Holmgard will publish is a Definitive Edition of these books but that might take two or three years to do so (since they are just at book 5 at the moment, with 6 and 7 "coming soon").

Here what Holmgard had to say last week about Book 28 and Collector’s Edition vs Definitive Edition. *****
Only 1,000 copies of each Collector's Edition title from Holmgard Press were ever printed. Those titles (Books 23-27) are now down to the final few dozen. We expect these Collector's Editions to be sold out within a few weeks.
Book 28 will be no different. We will only print 1,000. If you wish to complete your Collector's Edition shelf, this is your last chance before you're at the mercy of eBay sellers.
From here on, we will publish exclusively in the Definitive Format. If you don't wish to purchase Book 28 in this smaller, older (and frankly less excellent) format, be assured that the Definitive Edition version will be released in its turn, within the next few of years.

May I ask a question regarding the bonus adventure 'Dagger of the Mind'?
In my quest to track down all the bonus adventures this one eludes me. According to the chronological list of all Lone Wolf media posted previously, this is the BA for the Mantikore release of LW2. I haven't bought it yet to confirm, but all reports I have seen put it as containing the Crown of King Alin IV BA instead.
Is August Hahn's (likely much better) BA available anywhere to buy currently? And is there anything you are able to reveal about this mysterious bit of Lone Wolf history.
Many thanks for your time and trouble.

Your dedication to the "extended universe" of Lone Wolf is just humbling, andyc ! Alas, my answer will be disappointing. I might be the only one to have read that Bonus Adventure besides August, for it was never released to my knowledge. Let me correct : it wasn't the BA for the Mantikore release of LW2. It was a BA for a seemingly aborted project of Mantikore to release a special compendium LW1-LW2 (if someone saw it, please correct!). It will be heartbreaking, but here are 3 short keywords summarizing pretty well imo that one [SPOILERS] : Noodnic - Helghast - Tarnalin

By the sound of it, it would go well with August's other two Noodnic stories in a future BA collection volume; once you get round to them of course.

Actually, SPOILERS It won't feature the same Noodnic character. And with a different Noodnic character class. At a different time. This story's not related to the 2 Noodnic adventures August wrote for the Swedish editor Askfageln. August patiently builds huge new things for the LW universe, between all the new stuff created in the Dire series, this, and the Vampirium in the soon-released LW28BA .
