Is it possible to accuumulate ... 2 potions of Oede Herb 15 potions of Alether 20 potions of Laumspur By the end of book 20? - Oede herb can be found in book 5 and book 13, so yes. - Alether can be found book 1 (in swamp) book 3 (concentrated) book 4 (in Ruanon mines) book 5 2x (one in herbmistress shop, and one from guards with tridents guarding Bronze door - you must not get infected) book 6 4x (maximum 3 raw Alether in shrine near Varetta, and one in shop in Luyen) book 8 (one Alether from Tadia the Prophetess - go by the road) book 10 (starting equipment - Mongoose edition) book 13 4x (one big jar with 4 doses of Alether - Mogaruith secret storage) That's 15 total in 13 books. - Laumspur: 11 total as starting equipment in books 1-13 except 2, 7 (where you always lose your backpack at some point), and 11 without starting equipment. Book 4 has 2 potions in starting equipment. plus: book 3 (concentrated) book 4 2x (two in Ruanon mines) book 5 (herbmistress shop) book 6 (Luyen shop) book 13 5x (one big jar with 5 doses of Laumspur - Mogaruith secret storage) That's 21 total, also in 13 books :-)

Considering you find (tens, maybe hundreds of years) old potions in book 3 in Kalte and also very old Laumspur in the Necropolis of Tyso in book 19 (that still retains its healing properties), I think you shouldn't bother about expiration date

Will meals turn stale in the land of Magnamund?

There's been no official ruling that meals expire, either. Although I did throw them away in between adventures as a house rule when I read them as a kid.

How about meals? Will meals turn stale in the land of Magnamund? Depends what kind of food it is. Dried meat can last up to one year (some say indefinitely) if dried correctly. But I'm sure there is some version of Twinkies in Magnamund! Anyways, as food goes for a Kai Lord, if they have Herbmastery with the rank of Grand Sentinel, even rotten food can be eaten: link

And honey, for example, can practically last forever: link.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. Are you looking for a list of popular house rules? I don't think PA has one. Maybe search the forums for it. If you're asking what it is - just a custom rule that players come up with themselves. Some examples, in addition to the one I used to have for meals: dual-wielding, consuming more than 1 Alether in a single combat, adventure checkpoints, what to do when you die, etc.

Where did you read the house rules when you were a kid? I mean where is the source?

I guess there's a language barrier here or something... Please forgive me if I'm not explaining it correctly.
"House rule" means a made-up rule. I didn't read any house rules (or any suggestions for them) as a kid. I just came up with it myself to enhance the gameplay, because it made a degree of logical sense. There was no source for it other than my own imagination. It was my own rule for playing the books. That's exactly what a house rule is. I don't know how else to describe it, I'm sorry.

In Singapore, house rules refers to the rules made by a person with authority and everyone has to follow that rule. It is called 家规 in Chinese.

Interesting. I understand the confusion now. In English, it means the opposite of what you're familiar with. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_ruleThis is a good example of the downsides of literal translations!

It took me 5 years to finally pass my GCSE English O level. I kept on getting Grade D7 for English. English has never been my strong subject. The highest score I ever got for Comprehension/summary writing was 17 out of 50.
