Hi, does anybody know anything about fort/city Gourlizog? It is situated completely in the north. Thank you.

Never heard of this place... Is it from Francesco Mattioli's set of maps?

It appears at the top edge of the big map by Honza. Here is a detail.
So far I haven't found any other reference to it.
The name translates to "cold prison" in the Giak language, which implies it is a stronghold of the Darklords. Usually cities and fortresses are built in strategic locations near natural resources or trade routes. This appears to be off by itself, in between the mountains and the pack ice. My best idea is that it could be a trading post with the Ice Barbarians.
Why do you ask? Do you have ideas for it?

Or it could literally be a prison.

It seems to also appear on Mattioli's map of Central Kalte (sorry, no better quality). There seems to be much more settlements in Kalte.

In Les Grottes de Kalte (french translation of The Caverns of Kalte, published by Gallimard), there is a line about Gourlizog, in Les Archives de Magnamund (a supplement written by Scriptarium).
Here it is:
The second port of Kalte, Gourlizog, is a terrifying prison for the servants of the Darklands who made the mistake of doing Good.
(Original French: Le second port de Kalte, Gourlizog, est une terrifiante prison destinée aux serviteurs des Royaumes des Ténèbres ayant eu le tort de commettre le Bien).
Hope it helps.

Then it appears in the DE version of book 3 too as the new French version of the series is based on the current DE version of Holmgard Press.

It should be in the "The Icy Wastes of Kalte" part of the Archives, right?

In the Gallimard translation, the line about Gourlizog is actually hidden in the Ice Barbarians section of Les Archives de Magnamund. No idea if it is also the case in the DE.

Sorry, I've just re-read what the people at Scriptarium have said about the Archives of Magnamund: the concept was created by Scriptarium for the 5th edition of the series in French and Holmgard Press decided to take the same concept for the DE. But apparently, the elements included in each book are not exactly the same between the two languages. So unless the info is indeed hidden in the Ice Barbarians section of the DE, it might be missing completely from the English version.

Nothing to add beyond the fact that it'd be worrying indeed if this place is more terrifying than being based on the doorstep of Ixia!

In Les Archives de Magnamund, it is explained that «the Darklords of Helgedad have renounced to enslave the indomitable Ice Barbarians» and that they also failed to make them allies, altough they have joined forces punctually against Sommerlund and Durenor.
That tells me that the Darklords either built a prison in Kalte for strategic reasons and didn’t care whether the Ice Barbarians were happy about it or not, since the Darklands are the most powerful force in Magnamund and the Ice Barbarians can’t control by themselves an entire continent, or that they struck a deal with them at one point in History, in a similar way to the US building the Guantanamo base in Cuba.

From the back of Central Kalte map card (set 10 of Magnamund map cards):
During the Age of Black Moon, Darklord Dakushna landed on Central Kalte and made first contact with the Ice Barbarians. He formed a fragile alliance with them, but the influence of Darklords never reached beyond the Gorak Pass. After the departure of Dakushna, the forces of Darklords settled on the coasts of the Gourlizegiza and the Taneziga gulfs. They erected the mountain facility of Zizak Gedtak in the Gour Pass to deprive Ice Barbarians of access to the coasts where traditionally they had hunted the Baknar. It also kept secure the infamous prison-citadel of Gourlizog where political prisoners and spies are condemned to a lifetime of hard labour and cruel deprivations.
