Some Spoilers ahead
In the past I think the great regret of the NO series was not saying Moriah. But reading Storms of Chai, losing your companions and even the devastating massacre of Chai refugees form a new part of that regret.
But as I thought about Prince Kamada, you save this boy more than once and from the grasp of Sejanoz but he still dies later that year. Why? I know Zha-Zhing is blamed by some but we never really see this addressed again or am I forgetting?
Kamada is like 4 or 5?, that's a pretty dark fate for a child you actually interact with. And now in the CE he can see his own death. Not sure how I feel about that one. His "timeline since 28" offscreen death bothers me now.
Additionally, what are the Masbate? They do not seem related to the Mythenish race at all, are they alone or an indigenous group? Almost every group arrived in Magnamund and founded many nations like Nael, Vaderish, Vassa,etc.
The Masbate were diminished by the demon plague but what about the Lissanian nomads? They seem fine. But the trade cities seem to have been in place for centuries.
