Hi guys, I noticed that the map for The Forbidden City is different from the map in my copy of the book.
I have the UK Beaver edition and the map doesn't look like that.
Is that the map that came with the US versions?

No, the map is the same in the UK and US versions, as far as I am aware. The reason the map is different in the Project Aon editions is because we haven't been able to contact the original illustrator Paul Bonner yet, so we currently do not hold the rights to use the original illustrations--including the map. IIRC the map we're currently using was drawn by a good chap called Chris Lundgren (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong! ) since we considered it better to have a fan-drawn map than none at all. He also drew the small illustrations representing the Magical Powers for the current online editions. Similarly, before we had Gary Chalk's go-ahead, a talented guy called Michael Hahn created the maps for Books 1-8 using Campaign Cartographer. You should be able to download and view his work on the Project Aon site . . . erm, I just can't find the link right now!

Well that certainly clears things up. Thanks!
And I'd love to see the fan drawn maps for LW books 1-8 as well!
