Hi All!!
I've been a Lone Wolf fan since I can remember and i've picked up reading the series again recently. I never managed to complete my collection of the New Order series, Book 23 being my last book. I was hoping if I could find the answers to some of the burning questions I have on the series...
First up...what happens to Lone Wolf after he's rescued in Trail of the Wolf. I read synopsis of later books and no mention of him was made.
Secondly...Does he 'Live happily after' with the new protagonist of the story eventually reaching the level of Supreme Master and maybe having co-ledership of the Kai?
And finally...What's Lone Wolf's involvement in the 'final' book in the series?
Would be grateful for any enlightenment on these issues.
Hail!!

The series halted at Book 28 (The Hunger of Sejanoz), but Joe Dever has hinted that the other four books will be written after he retires.

NS, I've been trying to figure out what your current avatar is. I think it's Jeremy Irons as Aramis in the 1998 movie version of The Man in the Iron Mask. Do I win a prize?

To add more details about what NS said, the NO series was halted at book 28. There was supposed to be 4 more books in the series, which would had answered your questions, but the publisher abandonned them. So we can't really answer your 2 questions regarding the ending of the series.
As for what happened in books 26, 27 & 28 regarding Lone Wolf, it is business as usual: he sends you on missions while he stays at the Monastery, throwing parties with Banedon and Gwynian while making beer drinking contest.

Cheers For the replies!!
I've another couple of questions though.... 1. Who's Qinfer?? 2. What's Alyss' relationship with Banedon?
I've read just a little on these two issues but nothing concrete so far....
Cheers

Q******= ANC (annoying new character) in the Legends series (the novels about LW written by John Grant, aka Paul Barnett)
Alyss relation with Banedon doesn't exists at all, at least in the gamebooks.

Now wait a minute, that's completely biasing him against the Legends. Someone should give him the plain facts about who Qunifer is.

Quinefer is nice young woman, who like to bath naked. Was that plain enough?

Not wishing to spoil the party, Wolfus, but don't we all like to bath naked?

We are listening to you, Zipp. ;D Yeah... when I said someone... I meant someone who has actually read the Legends ^_^ The truth is, I'm very interested in reading them, but months of bias against them from Project Aon and Tower of the Sun has made them hard to start. I'm trying to not create such a situation in others.

The Legends are worth a look Zipp - they ain't that bad! I haven't read them for ages, but I remember some of them being quite enjoyable. Ok, there are definately problems with them. Sometimes Mr Grant just disappears right up his own rear, and there are some teeth-grindingly irritating characters (like Quinifer). But they are far from being completely dire, despite the impression you might get on this forum!
