The 3rd book, Sword of the Sun, was published in the US in the early 90s in two parts, The Tides of Treachery and The Sword of the Sun. I used to have them but my shortsightedness came to haunt me.

The version of "The Sword of the Sun" that you have would be split in half, with the ending of one and beginning of the next being when Lone Wolf begins his journey via coach from Ragadorn to Port Bax.

You can always get the e-books. This is what I did. And the 25 dollars for all twelve books was worth it in my mind. I even had a pleasent conversation with Paul Barnett's wife who happened to grow up only a few miles from where I live!

Woot woot for Paul Barnett! Anyone who hasn't read the Legends series, I higher recommend that you do. They are amazing so far!

See... You guys are giving praise for Legends and I'm all for that. So WHY CAN THEY NOT GET PUBLISHED?! Lord if only I was a billionaire. I'd take Joe and Paul and then let them do what they will to get the books done. They are amazing. I wanna write a book one day using Dever's method of fighting. I wonder if he'd allow me to do that. Joe and Paul are my new gods. Heh.

Ronan, man, ignore the above statement. I think they SHOULD be reccommended. Sorry Dark Fox, no hard feelings I hope. I just think that Joe and John are great writers and should be hailed for their work.

I'm one of the few around here who enjoys the series, though I haven't read some of the more despised volumes in the series. I feel that for the most part Grant stays true to the core of Magnamund while using his own ideas to steer Lone Wolf away from some of its more generic fantasy leanings. It doesn't always work out for the best, but I've found them enjoyable.

No hard feelings, I just think Grant was a sub-par writer who used Dever's sandbox as a litterbox.
