For those who can't afford a palm reader, like me, well, is there a way to burn the Lone Wolf books to a Data CD, then play it in a DVD/VCR? Just wonderin'

Considering that DVDs normally have menus that allow you to make choices, there's probably *some* way to do it. However, I have no idea of how difficult it would be to program all the HTML pages and choices onto a DVD so that it will operate that way in a DVD player. Sorry I can't really help, but maybe someone else can provide more information.

I have no idea how DVD navigation works, but this is an interesting idea.
(I'm moving the thread to a more appropriate location.)

Apart from being a bit of a tedious process (yes, you could make an entire DVD with nothing but 'menus' which are actually pages of the books presenting the choices on each) it would require making 'video' versions of the text (as dvd players play video streams *not* text streams (even subtitles are video streams) and it doesn't exactly solve your issue of not affording a palm pilot! I assume you want to be able to play the books wherever you go...but apart from a portable dvd player, which not to mention would be painful to do lots of reading on (even the pilots are irritating to me to read on) there isnt another way, other than print the books out! :-D
I *think* it would be a wasted format. Others may disagree. sorry to be a party pooper.

I agree. Popping in a DVD of Lone Wolf books would be no different from doing em online the way they are. Sorry.
