Ah, then it's alright. It just wasn't listed at the Errata page, so I got worried.. Doomy: No, the Mongoose editions are based on Joe Dever's "versions". The footnotes of PA are incorporated though.

Hiya! I was reading through book 13 and found a couple of errors.
Before I say anything about that, though, I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone involved in this project! I have many fond memories of checking LW out from the library over and over when I was a kid. :3 I bought a "complete" set of 14 battered softcovers from eBay a few years back and had fun reading the adventures the library never had....
...and then I found PA and found out that I was missing half the series! Hoooo boy. You guys are excellent! :3 I run an online game that updates on a regular schedule, so I KNOW how annoying it is when the users don't recognize the amount of work that goes into a labor of love like this. I seriously want to bust some heads sometimes. x.x While I cannot truly understand the amount of work that has been done here, I want you all to know that it is greatly appreciated.
Now the biggest challenge is staying away from PA during work hours. *whistle* ;D
***
Here's the errors. Forgive me if these have already been reported. I checked the list of known problems and didn't see these listed, but I'm kind of a noob to how this site works. :3
Section 1: Unexpectedly your stomach rebels and a wave nausea rises up which makes you slap a hand over your mouth.
Should be "wave OF nausea" here. (As seen in the book I have. :3)
Section 84: Silently you offer up a prayer to Ishir before venturing a step further this inhospitable domain.
Should probably be "further INTO this" here. (Sorry, cruddy abridged version so I don't know where this section is in the actual book... IF it's in there at all!)
At once you attempt to use your Magnakai powers of Animal Control, to determine if these creature are hostile, but your efforts go unrewarded.
Not 100% sure, but maybe the first comma isn't necessary? When I read it to myself, it seems like the comma makes me pause in an unnatural spot.

Now the biggest challenge is staying away from PA during work hours. *whistle* ;D My boss doesn't seem to care if I goof off during work when I don't have anything work-related to do (which is like 75% of the time). On the other hand, it's part-time with lousy pay, and it's in Michigan.

I try not to goof off too much, but... I work so much faster than everyone thinks I can. I still feel out of place at my job even after two years, like I don't really fit in with everyone since I don't have a clear job description or much experience. I love the company and the people but I'm so afraid that someone's going to decide that I'm not much of an asset because I don't get the theory. I figure a little reading between projects isn't as bad as what most people my age would be doing to goof off at work, right?

Ah, it's nice to be appreciated! Seriously, volunteers have put in countless hours of work over the past 9-and-a-half years, and we're not resting on our laurels. Expect more releases soon. That's what this thread is for! We have a series of wiki Errata Pages, but they are for tracking errors rather than reporting them. Yup! Fixed in the xml. Another word present in the original book. Fixed in the xml. The comma is not 100% incorrect, but in a sentence that is as straightforward as this it can be considered unnecessary. Fixed in the xml. Bear in mind that only the source xml file has been fixed. The changes won't be propagated to the published editions until we re-release Book 13 . . . which could be some time. If we didn't work like this we'd be re-releasing the older books every week and not working on the later books. Hopefully from next year (which seems so long a time to wait, and yet . . .) we'll be implementing a system of re-releasing the older books on a much more regular basis, and hopefully this will encourage more fans to post problems they've spotted in this thread. Oh, and if you want to post your full name (or PM it to me if you prefer forum anonymity) I can add you to the xml for Book 13 as a 'Special Thanks' for reporting these. Cheers! -- Simon "outspaced" Osborne Project Aon

Thanks! Looking forward to new releases, but I still have plenty of material to enjoy before I'm all caught up with everything that's available. I have almost no memory of books 6-14 (combination of time and general poor memory - I'm the kind of person who can read the same book every other year and enjoy it like new!) so it will be a long time before I'm ready for anything new. :3 Yup, got it on the source code. I've been lurking for a while and picked up a very rough understanding of how the process works. My biggest concern was that I'd report something that was already fixed! I don't mind posting my name on the forum. Can't hide with a unique name anyway. I'm Jaime Wawra. Nice to meet you all.

Excuse my manners, I haven't said "hello" yet. Hello! Stick around, we're a friendly bunch. Many of us are also active on Tower of the Sun, which is home to more general discussion as well as fan-created works based on the Lone Wolf canon.

Thanks Doomy! I'm very impressed with the members here and on Tower of the Sun (lurked there a bit too). I don't think I'd have much to contribute since I'm so far behind on my reading and with such a poor memory of what I have read. Plus I'm shy. But I'll try to be a little active here since I have great interest in the project! I'll stop spamming up the error reports thread now.

Thanks Doomy! I'm very impressed with the members here and on Tower of the Sun (lurked there a bit too). Oh, come on! Don't simply lurk, join us! Ok, about errors: I went through the list of illustrations in book 20 to discover what I've been missing all these years with my French version (the French editor removed nearly 50% of BW's work). Well, on the list, it says there're illustrations for section 97 and section 281 and they are not there when you check the said sections. I know for sure that there's one for section 97 (some spider-like monsters that you see while riding down the river) since it's one of the rare illustrations that made it's way in the French version, but I don't know for section 281. On another matter, this came up in the quizz thread. Books 16, 17 and 18 all started with the SsF section saying that it is the year MS 5077. It doesn't work: book 16 is taking place in summer and book 17 in fall, so how come book 18 could take place in winter/spring of the very same year of the two preceding books? We know that Magnamund changes year in fall/winter like us (SsF of book 15 tells us that book 14 starts on the day of the "first fall of winter snow" and that a new year started nearly immediatly after the end of that adventure) and that all the NO books mention the attack of the dragons in MS 5077. I think the correct thing to do is to change the date of books 16 and 17 to MS 5076 (I'm pretty sure that's what is written in my copies, even if they are French versions).

Damn! I thought I'd updated the Table of Illustrations. The link to 97 should link instead to 94, and the link to 281 should link instead to 280. I've respun and re-uploaded The Curse of Naar, though there might be a few connection problems whilst it gets updated. :-\ I'll forward the other issue to the Mailing List for a response. Thanks for pointing out these issues. Onward and upward!

I'm sure this one is already fixed, but in the equipment list for Dawn of the Dragons AXE -> Axe.

About the dates, the French version of book 16 says it's MS 5076. Book 17 says it's MS 5077 but also says that book 16 happens earlier in the same year. So I guess MS 5076 should be the right date for both books.

Doomy: Cheers. That should already have been fixed, according to the Errata page. Now properly fixed.

@bc: OK, we've gone with your change from MS 5077 -> MS 5076 for Books 16 and 17. Fixed in xml. Phew!
Can anyone confirm what the stats are for Zakhan Kimah if you fight him with the Sommerswerd in the Mongoose edition of The Cauldron of Fear? If they have dropped the stats, we plan on footnoting the new stats for reference.

I like that nice idea. Well, I'm currently waiting for the delivery of my copy. So I can't confirm first hand. But since another customer posted it at the Mongoose forums I take it for granted that the stats have changed. To 39/46 from the top of my head.. (Of course I can confirm firsthand when my copy arrived, if need still be then)
Btw.: If it's done then it would be nice to be consistent and footnote all the stat changes of the Mongoose edition. (i.e. Altan's CS change to 28)
