I've little hope of ever reading these (I thought I had a good thing going with interlibrary loan, but they won't check things out overseas.. did you know the library at the University of Oxford has all of the LW books? Except Rune War, apparently..) and was hoping there were some in-depth descriptions of the stuff that goes in in the New Order books. Even just a "play report" would be interesting to read. I'm particularly curious about the Fall of Blood Mountain and the Bucanneers of Shadaki, but would love to see mini book-report-things on all eight.

Oh yeah! A long post to write! It helps me to practice my writing in English! So, here it goes: (WARNING: BIG, BIG, BIG SPOILER AHEAD, PLEASE RUN AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE NEW ORDER BOOKS...YET !) BOOK 21: Voyage Of The Moonstone: As one of the Grand Master of the New Kai Order, Lone Wolf asks you to bring back the Moonstone to the Isle of Lorn in Southern Magnamund. He will bring a fake Moonstone to Lencia, so you'll be able to have a safe trip...if it wasn't from different other things! In Barrakeesh, a girl name Oriah comes aboard your boat to escape the men of Sesketera, the man she's supposed to marry by the order of her father. Your ship is then attacked by Dar-Isun, brother of Sesketera. You slained the man and escaped, but your ship is dammaged and you have to leave the boat, bringing with you 4 Kirlundin Sailors. In Vassagonia, Oriah is captured by a merchant of slaves and you continue your road alone. Then, you have to fight as a gladiator, kill a monster that terrorize a city and kill in the jungle the wife of that monster before you arrive in Elzian. BOOK 22: The Buccaneers of Shadaki : From Elzian, you continue your trip towards the Isle of Lorn. Fighting against the elements, you make your way to Ghol-Tabras, city of Sesketera. You are arrested after you were caught in the streets after dark. You escape from the jails of Ghol-Tabras with the help of Oriah who was bought by Sesketera from the slaves merchant. After a short fight with the master of the city, you escape aboard a Siyenese ship, which is attacked by Sesketera's ship. You escape again and make your way thru the Shadaki. You meet a fellow countrymen in Caeno and have a little problem together with him after the Caeno Derby. You meet different dangers along your way to Port Of Suhn, among them followers of Ulonga (a shaman that's trying to bring back Shasarak to the throne of Shadaki), a magical storm and a monster from Hell. In Port of Suhn, you meet an Elder Magi that helps you to bring the Moonstone to the Isle of Lorn.BOOK 23: Mydnight's Hero : After you spend 2 months on Lorn (without noticing it), you come back to Port of Suhn where the Elder Magi that helped you in book 22 helps you again to contact Lone Wolf. He tells you that the king of Siyen is death and that his heir, Prince Karvas, is exiled on the Isle of Sheasu, and that he has 50 days to claim the throne. You go to Mydnight, only port of the island, and convince the Prince to come back in his home country before Baron Sadanzo (a secret follower of Naar) becomes the King. This Baron is also suspected to be the man who ordered the assassination of the King. An accident during your aerial trip aboard a Crystal Star Guild's sky ship (commanded by the brother of the man from Caeno) forces you to continue your trip by foot. You go to Bakhasa, a city of Bhanar (ruled by Sejanoz, more details in further books), where, after different adventures, you steal 2 horses and escape in the mountains surrounding Naaros, ancient country of Agarash. You pass thru Lunarlia, a country next to Siyen and always in war with it, and arrive in the city of Cavalia, which is the city of Sadanzo. You are then capture but you escape from the city and continue your trip towards Seroa, capital of Siyen. You have to fight a ghost, avoid an embush from Sadanzo's men and find a rapid way to the capital, where you arrive the day of the crowning. Depending on how you play the book, you might kill Sadanzo yourself or make an executioner do it for you.BOOK 24: Rune War: After coming back from your big trip in Southern Magnamund, Lone Wolf tells you that the Kai Order is going to go on a crusade. The new ruler of Eldenora, Vandyan, has found the runes of Agarash, which were created at the same time that the Doomstones. With the first rune, Vandyan is creating the Vorkas, giant lizards that are used as soldiers in Vandyan's army. With the second rune, he called Zorkaan the Soul-Taker, a monster that is festing upon human souls. With his army of Vorkas, Vandyan has counquered a large part of the Stornlands. You are selected to go in Duadon and destroy the Runes before it is too late. Along your way, you help a Slovian soldier to escape and use the uniform of the Eldonarian guard that you killed as a disguise. You also meet Zorkaan for the first time in a forest where he was eating souls. In Duadon, you meet with Delissa and her husband Hulsta, secret agents of Gwynian. Hulsta guides you thru a secret passageway to Skull-Tor, citadel of Duadon, but he dies when the roof of the passageway collapses. Alone, you make your way to the chamber where Vandyan is keeping the Runes. While he is working on the third rune (which is suppose to call the Vaags, dangerous flying creatures), you destroy the two other runes and fight against Zorkaan. You finally destroy the third rune before the Vaags appear but without killing Vandyan. When you come back to Hulsta's house, Delissa and you make a plan to escape the city. You finally reach a place of meeting with Banedon that brings you back to Varetta aboard his sky ship. The next morning, Lone Wolf allows you to go back to the monastery. A few days before Lone Wolf arrives, a messenger comes to tell you that he was kidnapped by Zorkaan...BOOK 25: Trail Of The Wolf : After knowing that Zorkaan is still alive somewhere in Magnamund and that he has captured Lone Wolf, you ask Rimoah for some clues. He tells you that a necromancer named Xaol has found a way to take Zorkaan under his control. Zorkaan, Lone Wolf and Xaol are in Gazad Helkona, a city of the Darklands. Banedon drops you near the Forest of Helkona and you cross it, not before you slain a giant spider. In Gazad Helkona, you find a way to the chamber where Lone Wolf is held prisonner and kill Xaol. But, before you can free your master, Zorkaan attacks you by using Xaol's body. Finally, Lone Wolf kills the monster (and saves you at the same time) by throwing the Sommerswerd to him. Woo, thanks. Probably would've been okay to leave the text plain, since it's sort of a spoiler-thread, but I am happy regardless. ;)

Well, you are very patient GaryE! It took me almost 3 hours to complete it (with long pauses between each editing). I think it was 10:00pm in Canada (where I live) when I finished it, which means it was 3:00am in the UK (where you live I guess). You stayed in front of your computer a good part of your night to see me writing this post? Geesh, thanks for standing by, I appreciate it!

I spent most of the night online, poping back to the Forum every so often to see if you had updated your list.
I have played through the New Order books a few times, but I was still interested in your post.
As for 3am, I didn't get to sleep until nearly 7am.
