What names did you guys use for this series (mine should be pretty obvious ? Did you use the suggested table a la some lazy people, or make up your own? Also, which of the special weapons did you take, and why? I couldn't resist Kaistar - it just seemed the coolest, besides which I figured any dastardly evildoer worth its salt would come after me at night.

The name was Grim Storm. I can't remember which weapon I took, though.

I was either Sun Brow or Storm Brow the first time through, can't remember which. I'm going to say 'Storm Brow' cos I think it sounds cooler.

Sabre Wolf usually. He's my other Kai Lord ERPG character, and he fights with a sword and a bow. Ghost Bear uses a quarterstaff, so I chose not to use him.

OT alert.
By chance named after the character on Killer Instinct?

Nope, I've never played that game. I was always a Street Fighter man myself.
The character Sabre Wolf is quite instinctive and agressive in a fight, so I wanted a 'feral' kind of Kai name for him, and Sabre Wolf sounded cool (to my mind anyway).

I got to play the New Order books because they didn't come out in the US.
But if I had. I think you know what i would ahve chosen. Its been my Lone Wolf handle for years. All the way back to the early 90's.

I haven't really gotten to play them, because I want to read them in order and only have #26, but if I were to do so, I'd probably use one of the names from my LW RPG, like Falling Star, Wind Scar (stolen from Inuyasha), Tempered Steel, Nightshade, Moon Whisper, or Rising Phoenix. By the way, in case you see this Desert Lynx, I have had a small outpost on the fringe of the Vassagonian Dry Main that young Kai Masters have been sent to on occasion in my campaign. Your site was so detailed when I first saw it years ago, that I had to incorporate it into my game. Hope you'll see it as an appreciative salute and not a blatant theft. Of course, I don't have to tell you what the place is called, or the name of the Kai Master who oversees it. . .
