For those of you who have read the first two books in my series which of the following 'special weapons' entrigued you the most?
Personally my favorite is the Darkfire Axe because it is the hardest weapon to find. Approaching the end of 'The Cordon of Holmgard' there are about 15 different ways to end the story. Only one of them includes you possessing the battleaxe of Zagarna's lieutenant.
I shall give you only one hint on how to get it...
You must face the hordes of the Darklord alone.
For those who wish to know I shall include any special affects each weapon has below...
Blue-steel Sword - +1 to Combat Skill when entering combat.
Oriental Battlesword - Double damage to any opponent, chance of inflicting damage upon yourself each round of combat.
Helghast Dagger - +2 Combat Skill when used against Darklords, Helghast, or any undead spawned within Helgedad.
Soulforge - Double damage against undead. Other effects vary.
Darkfire Axe - Triple damage against undead while underground, +3 to Combat Skill, -3 to Endurance and -3 Willpower every round of combat used.

Soulforge wins for me. Good name, powerful weapon, and it appears to be, to Alasi, what the Sommerswerd is to Lone Wolf (high CS bonus, double damage to undead, absorbs magical attacks). I can see it now -- every big fight in Books 3+ -- "Do you possess Soulforge?" ^_^

What I liked best about Soulforge is that you don't know what it's stats are going to end up being.
Combat Skill can be anywhere between +4 and +7. Endurance bonuses can be 0 or +2. Willpower can be 0, +2, or +3, or +4.
I think that it puts an interesting twist on things don't it?

Well, I have to cast my vote later (have to "meet" some of these weapons first), but so far, Soulforge hooks my interest the most! "Good, strong name" and all that ... Even if I have no clue at all as to what kind of weapon it actually is ... The Wytch-King, a bit overeager

Ummm, I suppose mine would be. . . well, I don't really know, I haven't found any of them yet! ~Relenoir, who hopes to find a cool secondary weapon sooner or later.

Wytch King - Soulforge is a normal, one-handed sword. It is a weapon you forge yourself within the forges of the Dwarves of Toran.
Relenoir - The weapons can be found as followed (spoilers).
Blue-steel Sword - Starting weapon at the TDbtD and found within a hut outside Toran in TCoH.
Oriental Battlesword - Found in a weaponsmith's shop in Holmgard (TDbtD).
Helghast Dagger - Taken of a Helghast's dead body in the TCoH in the gatehouse of the main gate.
Soulforge - Created in the Forge of Toran (TCoH).
Darkfire Axe - Found on the dead body of Zagarna's Lieutenant in TCoH.
EDIT: I put the locations of the weapons in a different font color so the spoiler isn't so easily seen.

Thanks Ronan! I'll have to check this list out later on. ~Relenoir, who somehow managed to keep his curious eyes from reading the rest of the screen after he read the word 'spoilers'.

The other weapons have now more competition than most of them probably can handle! ;D (Even if their stats are better - story freak that I am, I have been known to favour "lesser" blades over stronger if their background and name caught my fancy ...) Firstly I apologise Ronan - I have yet to read your material. But for what's its worth (if anything) I have submitted my vote for the Blue-steel sword.
On what basis you say.....well because I like it and my Vakeros character is currently using one in his RPG game, so there.
This poll has sparked my interest in your works so off to find them now....
D.V. (sorry everyone no kind regards from this darklord today)
