Well, that's no biggy. My mom fell asleep during Hero. It has to do with tiredness and a rare disease that somie people encounter near their twenties which stops them from staying awake during movies. Me? I can't sleep during a movie... even the really bad ones. I fell asleep during the dismal Hollywood Godzilla movie from a few years back. Does that count? After all, it was quite some way beyond bad. I think.

I wanted to leave after 20 minutes of Matrix: Revolutions. Any movie that spends 20 minutes on the subject of baking cookies needs help.
On the other hand, the Animatrix was sweet.

I wanted to leave after 20 minutes of Matrix: Revolutions. Bwa ha ha ha! So why didn't you? Maybe, just maybe, like me, you hoped it would get better. But alas... no. I don't think I've ever walked out on a movie. I turned off that GOD AWFUL Chris Rock movie where he dies and takes over some rich man's body.

Ugh, I know what you mean. Both the second and the third matrix movies ruined the series for me. If they had just left it at the end of the first one everything would have been perfect.

I liked the second one, but not as much as the first. I was incredibly disappointed with the third! What a let-down, the way that series turned out. I did like Animatrix though. The remake of 'Heaven can Wait?' It wasn't THAT horrible. I had some good laughs during it. If I'm tired enough, I can sleep anywhere. Days should be 30 hours long, then I could stay up for 20 and still get 10 hours of sleep!

The Animatrix was a very cool project put together by some of the anime industry's leading animators. The only one I couldn't stand was the final one, done by the creators of Aeon Flux (who have a very distinct style). It's the one that's on acid, where they are trying to get inside the machine's mind.
I have never, not once, fallen asleep during a movie.

Well, I wouldn't say I couldn't stand it, but I did nod off during it, and had to watch that one again later. Didn't really care for it too much. It was really abstract.

I never liked that artist's style. That combined with the acid trip scenes (which I've seen done before in a more interesting manner) didn't entice me.
The one with the runner ranks high on my list, as does the one with the haunted house. I'm also partial to the one done by the Vampire D team, the one which turns out to be a training simulator.
What is everyone else's favorite?

I liked the first one, with the two sparring partners at the beginning, that went on to explain where the tape with the important information came from.

Then you should defenitely check out Final Fantasy Advent Children. Oh, okay. That's a film I take it? I liked the first one that came out a few years back.

It's not out in the States yet. I mentioned it in some other topics. Here's the link. It's in Japanese right now, but you should look anyways. Click Enter, then go to trailers and look at trailer 3.
Its the sequel to FF7 in movie format.
Let me know what you think.

My girlfriend is avidly awaiting the release of this. As well she should be. You can pass it on to her that it should be out mid summer, if the fates do shine their fortune upon us. Oops, and I never dropped the link: www.square-enix.co.jp/dvd/ff7ac/~Zipp, who really wants to know what other people think of this

Huh? Where's the link? Oh, there's the link! I'll definitely check it out; I love FF7! Well, except the part at the end of the first disc when. . . you know. I thought I'd find some way of fixing that later in the game with some sort of Materia, I'd have liked being able to use the character some more.
