I installed NWN2 last weekend and half-bored with it started playing around with the world-builder. Then I started dreaming of how cool it would be if someone could make a full LoneWolf campaign with it. How fittingly epic this would be if properly done. Everything is already in place for a grand adventure. Then just for giggles I googled "lone wolf mod nwn2" today and found just such a mod. nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=3868I'm still busy downloading it, so i have no clue as to how far the modder went with it.

I don't think my PC is up to the task of running NWN2. I gather you need a computer with built-in fusion reactor and warp drive. Or something.

Well, the module you found is for NWN 1.
They were quite well known in their time and there are two of them, both made by Altaris.
They feature the time before the Massacre of the Kai in MS 5050, and you have 1 Kai discipline in the first and get a bonus Kai discipline as a bonus in the second if you complete the first.

Thanks for the heads-up WiseEagle. (Dropping the wisdom.) So... its for NWN1... . Luckily I bought the Forgotten Realms Deluxe pack earlier this year, so i can still check it out. And, this prolly means you can play this without the built-in fusion-reactor, Doomy.

I've already played the NWN1 modules, actually. They're pretty good, but there is (or was) a problem in the second one which requires you go into the console commands system and change a cell door from "locked" to "unlocked" so you can progress, which spoils things a bit. I thought you'd found a new module for the sequel, and since I can't run NWN2 (and was in a bit of a rush earlier) I didn't click on your link. Edit- Found a site which may be of interest, it tells you if your computer can run various high-end games: www.systemrequirementslab.comApparently I could just about run Oblivion on minimum settings, providing I ignore the smoke and flames. Not too shabby for a two-year-old laptop.

Heh - I really should do my research before posting. So... sigh... theres no LoneWolf for NWN2... yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed - might just attempt something LoneWolf flavoured for it myself. Or... should i rather build the Kai Monastery in Sims2 and try to keep the new order Sim-Kai from burning it to the ground.

(While we're on the subject of Neverwinter Night, allow me to plug my own module, not based on Lone Wolf but on Flighting Fantasy Book 3, which can be downloaded from my website. Now quick! Look busy before Thomas spots this off-topic post. )

Now quick! Look busy before Thomas spots this off-topic post. ) See, I just saw this thread in the General Discussion section and less than 30 seconds after that, it was moved in the Auxiliary Creations... Thomas is quite efficient. Since we are talking of modules, I know that TotS had a scenario for Heroes of Might and Magic III with Lone Wolf, but the link in the download section is dead...

Its 4 days later and i still haven't played the LoneWolf mod. After installing my legal copy of NWN1 + the 2 expansion packs, i couldn't get it to run. (Kept on telling me to put the correct disc in - which i did) So... irritated i downloaded a crack the next day, only to be informed that the mod was created with a later version of the game. So now, i've started downloading the patches... sigh. I'm starting to go bald with frustration. Think i should stick to the paper-version of LoneWolf.

I think you need the Community Expansion Pack which is also hosted on the Neverwinter Vault.

@ Frigo: You will need both expansions and the latest patch to the NWN game (v1.68). However, the latest patch removes the need for the CD to be in the drive, so you can officially now play NWN without a CD! :-) Edit: And the CEP can be downloaded here.

Thanks for the help guys - works now. I'm surprised by the amount of trivia and background put into the mod, really makes it stand out.
