Found a post on KaiWisdom that I couldn't withhold from you: [/I][/ul] The Wytch-King, too muddled in Magnamund, as it seems ... Just in case it needs to be said: That is not intended as making fun of that organization. They are the ones based firmly in reality here, after all ...

That's just too funny! Thanks for sharing it! ;D ~Relenoir, who will be keeping an eye out for Naar strolling through a neighborhood near him.

Hmm, yet another piece of evidence linking Sommerlund with northern Europe and Scandinavia! Wonder if Joe had heard of Maaken, thought it sounded cool, and used it, or if it's just a coincidence. Any thoughts?

Hope Kai and Ishir arn't planning on leaving us to fend for ourselves if Naar really does decide to conquer us. Naaa, don't worry! We've got over a hundred Kai Lords on this forum to save the world from his little beasties! ~Relenoir, who is confident that even the Wytch-King of Germany would have a BIG problem with Naar trying to take over.

Rest assured, he would. ... Not sure whether Naar would care, though ... The Wytch-King No big deal! I'd like to see that big, stinky blob walk anywhere, never mind catch us! ~Relenoir, who secretly believes that Naar was the smelly, fat, out-of-shape kid when he went to Evil God Elementary School. Kids: Hey Naar, why don't you come torture this poor, helpless kitten with us? Naar: No, too much effort. I'll just sit here and eat this pile of feces.

Delightfully odd! On another note, this reminds me of an exchange in The Tick comics:
Tick: Onward, Arthur! Evil is afoot! Arthur: Really, that's very philosophical, Tick. A foot? I've always envisioned evil as a dark brooding shape with squinty eyes…Nerethel

Yours has always been equally amusing. The Tick was great, wish I'd watched more episodes. . . ~Relenoir, who is glad Nerethel IS wearing pants in all of his posts. P.S. I think I'll make that my new signature line. . . ;D

Nah, ya see Naar would take one look at Earth, realize that it's not even worth his time. He'd bust up in this and be all," yo, I'm evil so be my evil minions and do evil things." I don't know about you Europians but us Americans will promplty respond this way... "Hmm, he wants us to keep to our evil ways. Well how about this, screw him, we don't like authority." And then we all become nice little paladin warriors with glocks. Pleasant.

" section in the "Legends" series? It was a really nice thought though, Ronan.

Good still has a presence here, so we have not been conquered by evil.

No, we've not yet been conquered by evil. If we ever are taken over by Evil, it won't be as overt as on the attempt on Magnamund. It will be a subtler, sleazier takeover from within...
If it were overt, we'd be fairly able to defend ourselves, most likely. Do you think a Darklord could handle a nuclear warhead? Sure, they have hordes of giak armies, but we got the bombs. Helghasts might be a real threat, but no worse than the yahoos we elect into office, anyway.
Doomwolves and kraan vs. modern military tanks. Zlanbeast vs. F-16s. Giaks vs. armed infantry. I'd say we'd put up a really good fight. Evil would have to be subtle in it's takeover of Earth.
