Is evil actually capable of being subtle?

Helghasts might be a real threat, but no worse than the yahoos we elect into office, anyway. Y'know, now that you mention it... *looks distinctly nervous about the forthcoming election* I think the answer to Shadow's question might be very significant. Anybody got a good Sense Evil spell up their sleeves?

Is evil actually capable of being subtle? Hey! What's that supposed to mean? Nah, on a more serious vein: Oh, yes. Ooooh, yes, very much so indeed! For the first example that comes to my mind just have a look at ... **possibly Spoiler for Star Wars prequels, touching Palpatine's background** ... the way how Palpatine/Darth Sidious works in episodes 1 and 2. He's playing the Republic, the Separatists and even the Sith (as I tend to see it) for fools, using them all to twist the Republic into the Empire, with himself as the Emperor ... **End of SpoilerThe Wytch-King

Perhaps I should have been more specific, is NAAR capable of being subtle.

@ Wytch-King: Absolutely! My thoughts exactly. ;D I get a good laugh out of everyone that goes to see the prequels and doesn't know who "Spoiler" person actually is! Perhaps I should have been more specific, is NAAR capable of being subtle. Well, He did create Gnaag, who was incredibly manipulative and subtle in his plots and traps. The Helghasts were originally used as infiltrators, and still are, besides the fact that they can't be harmed by normal weapons.

That should read "In Islam(well, Arabic, I guess), Naar is the word for hell."

Islam is the religion, Arabic is the language. Don't be confused. Anyway, I'm sure Joe Dever tried to find words in real languages to name things in the Magnamund. It proves that he is very educate.
