After giving Amazon.co.uk enough time to get their act together, I've gone and ordered my copy from the States. Not only does the UK site now list the items as 'unavailable', some [ &*("*&£ ] is trying to flog their copy from the States for about £80. I checked the UK site today and saw that they'd removed almost all information about the product from their site, and you couldn't even pre-order it. I did remember to do it via Project Aon, though, so we should get about 50c towards the webmastering fees. Does anyone have any idea why this annoyance is happening? Are the distributors having problems shipping the product in bulk to the UK? As it is, I am unlikely to receive the product before June 14th now . . . gosh-flipping-darn it. (Belwin: I'll get back to you once I've got a copy of the RPG . . . no point in doing so until then. Sorry.)

You know what? That does not affect the UK only! I looked in Germany and France as well, and absolutely nowhere is even half a page of that confounded book available! Wouldn't be surprised if all of Europe is having that problem! The Wytch-King, who wants that book, too

I got fed up with Amazon today and canceled my order, then quickly ordered straight from Mongoose.
Amazon had the estimated ship date as being June 1-3, and today when I went to change my shipping speed (getting impatient, I was) they had also changed the ship date and pushed it back a week.
I can only hope it arrives as quickly as it did for others here in the states when it first shipped from the UK on the release date.

Although this is ultra-annoying, y'know, it occurs to me that this just might mean the RPG is selling far better than anyone could have hoped for and Amazon are waiting on a reprint? Gotta try and look on the bright side, after all. (Heh! Wouldn't it be good if the RPG mentiond the URL for Project Aon? )

I have found two cheap on-line stores in the UK. I got fed up of waiting for Amazon and ordered my copy elsewhere. www.infinitygames.co.uk/www.gameslore.co.uk/ I haven't used infinity games, but Games Lore are excellent. ----- Greg

Just had an e-mail from Amazon.com cancelling my order of the Darklands Supplement because 'they are unable to source it from their suppliers at this time.' My ordered copy of the RPG is apparently in the post right now, though. Hmm.

*crosses fingers, toes, eyes, and anything else he can think of, praying for a landslide success of the RPG and major ressurrection of the Lone Wolf genre* ;D ~Relenoir, who hopes there are no typos in this post. It's tough to type correctly with one's eyes crossed!

I ordered the RPG and preordered the Darklands in one package as I got 30% off the price of darklands this way. Darklands got cancelled for me too. The main RPG book is on its way to me, but I kind of hoped they would be able to send the darklands too. I guess the whole package will cost me much more now that I have too order darklands separately.

I ordered my copy of the main RPG book from Amazon.com on the 31st of May (after being as disgusted as you at the £80 sale), and was expecting it be shipped pretty slowly.
So imagine my surprise when it shipped late that week. I got it on Tuesday of this week, so that was a nine day turnaround, which is pretty impressive.
Again for me, The Darklands was unavailable about four days after I ordered it, which is annoying. I don't feel the core has enough creatures in to write a decent low level adventure, but that's a different story for a different post.
Oh, and there's almost no copies of it on eBay, and I haven't found any other UK based site which sells it.
EDIT oh, and the current cost from Amazon.com comes to about £27 inc. shipping, which is cheaper than even Amazon.co.uk would sell it for...get it while you can, it's the same book.

My personal advice is to bypass Amazon altogether and order straight from Mongoose. I placed my order with them June 1st and got it yesterday.
As of today, Amazon US changed their estimated ship time from 1-3 weeks to 1-2 months. Ridiculous.

Well, folks, my copy has finally arrived! I haven't had a chance to look through it yet beyond the most cursory of glances, but I must say it looks very nice.
Annoyingly, I have already spotted a few typos in the book, which is always a shame, but I am hoping that such minor glitches won't affect my enjoyment. (Whoever muddled up the Durenese town Blave as Slave should hang their head in shame, however!)
The gazeteer of the various countries looks fantastic!
Does anyone have any news on the Darklands Supplement? Or is it still unsourceable? Has it even been released yet?
