Well, they were not really gamebooks but I do remember those old "Choose Your Own Adventure" books. I remember that I was 9 or 10 when I was reading those and so when I first saw a LW book, I thought LW books were a much cooler version of those things. Of course, after reading the first couple of them, I realized that they were something completely different.
Then again, those "Choose Your Own Adventure" books were useful for bumping my my book totals for school. My 4th grade teacher had this chart on the wall and each time you read a book, you got to make a mark next to your name on the wall. So, I just made all the wrong decisions and finished those books quite rapidly. Heh heh.

I've got about 3/4 of the entire series. I also own some of the rare Nintendo Choose Your Own Adventures. Did you try going to Home of The Underdogs? The site was posted here a while back... think you'd like it. www.the-underdogs.org/gamebook.php

Thanks, I will go through that later since I have not seen those books in years. I might still have one or two on the shelf somewhere but probably not.
