I know this is not lone wolf related at all, except that it's something from my childhood, but has anyone else ever seen the Wonder Years?

Yeah, I remember that show. I don't think I have seen it in about 8 or 9 years but I do recall seeing it. I think the reruns were on each weekday at like 5:30 or something(at least in my area).

Great show. Watched it all the time. I even have a jacket like Paul's. It's sooooo cool.

Wasn't that that American '70s teenage angst programme which went on and on for ages? I think I even saw an episode once!

I guess you could call it that. I hate TV and I watched every episode of that show. It's a really well thought out show. The end is sad in a poignant way. And it wasn't soap opera.

The one I saw was the one were he was not taking his driving test because he couldn't parallel park. I think the last couple of lines to that one were something to the effect of:
"Then, the next day we went out and got my driving license. My dad was so proud. Then he took it away and grounded me for a week."

I hated The Wonder Years. Comedy with a message. Bleurgh.
Its finest hour came with The Simpsons' masterful lam[thingy]ing of it, right down to getting Daniel Stern to do Future Bart. "Me? Get a job?? Were they serious??" *cue Hendrix-style riff* ;D

Lam[thingy]ing? I'm guessing you meant lambasting?
I remember the future Simpsons with Lisa as US President - that was quite amusing.

Actually, I think he meant lamp00ning Have to agree with Deiseach, the show was something to avoid when it was broadcast during my adolesence.

I guess it all depends on what you like and don't like. Me, I was a fan.
But I like a wide variety of things, ranging from stupid obviously made for male action flicks to sensitive romance (not that far apart really), from steamy tentacle sex to mind destroying evangelion (not that far apart really).
My current favorite is probably the anime Noir.

I totally loved the show and still do. It doesn`t matter how long its been, I still manage to catch episodes I never saw of the show before. Guess thats what happens when a show goes for aslong as that show did. Really sad how it ended . A very real life kindof ending though. Anyone else remember that blonde girl that he had that brief fling with in his college years? I used to think that girl was so hot. Saw her in alot of episodes of one of my other favorite shows back then "Parker Lewis Can't Lose".

I remember her. I used to get her confused with other characters, because she wasn't on all that often. And yes, the ending was excellent. Very sad, but very realistic, like you said.

I stand with Zipp. I liked that show. I heard it was supposed to be coming out on DVD this year, fairly soon, because that was a few months ago. I never saw the end episode, so don't ruin it for me! I watched it less as I got into high school, but still enjoy it when it's on.

Phew! And I just about posted the ending! Okay, we'll save that one for Relenoir. Yeah, the DVD should be out already, but there's been some... complications?
If you try to buy the DVD from Amazon you can petition FOx to get their act together.
