Well, if you wish, we could postpone this poll for a while (maybe even re-create it later), as I was planning on replaying the whole Grey Star series these days (hours?) ... Character sheet's already printed and waiting! I could keep an eye open for nice goodies, err, worsies. (Oh, by the way: As far as I remember, mortar and pestle are indeed quite useful, if you want to use Alchemy ... ) The Wytch-King, eager to defeat himself. Again.

Well, I figured that deleting the first post would delete the poll, but it didn't. So now I don't know what to do about it. But, yeah, go ahead and read the series and we'll post another one. I'll lock voting on this one if I can.
Which, apparently I can't.

I was planning on replaying the whole Grey Star series these days (hours?) ... Character sheet's already printed and waiting! As some of you on the forum may be aware, quite a lot of work was done on the pre-release version of Grey Star #3: Beyond the Nightmare Gate over this last weekend by XMLer extraordinaire Thomas Wolmer, taking the number of outstanding issues down from about 100 to 12. There's been a flurry of posts (about 3 or 4 ) on the mailing list regarding these outstanding issues, so the Project Aon edition hopefully shouldn't be too far off. I thought this would be a good place to bring this to everyone's attention

It's been a while, but I vote for the Redeemer's amulet/pendant in GS1.
If you solve the puzzle, you automatically miss out on the oppotunity to visit Jhana (or whateve his name is), and so lose out on some decent items.

Ah, I never got the Redeemer's Medallion. I always went to the market instead of the Inn so I could get all that great Alchemical equipment.

HUZZAH! Now if only LW16 were to come out at roughly the same time . . . Keep dreaming . . . That is unless you're willing to wait a few more months for BtNG just so it can come out at the same time as TLoV . . . ?

I voted for the Kazim Stone. Yes, it's necessary for the quest to continue. Yes, you can take it or leave it. Yes, if you leave it, Tanith will be more than happy to bring it along for you. . . STUPID LITTLE WITCH!!! What the hell did she have to go and bring along that freaking Kleasa-summoning, Mother Magri profiling crystal ball for anyway? It ONLY puts you in probably the toughest fight in the whole four-book series. She deserved to get devoured by that Soul Eater for that if you ask me. . . Right, Wytch-King? ~Relenoir, who does NOT enjoy spending half of his Willpower to take out the Kleasa quickly. . . I think it's Jnana. Yeah, those are some good supplies!

Err, welll ... *looks around nervously* Uh, I happen to like that young lass somehow ... Yes, I can most certainly say I do ... *gulps* Good decision of her, that one ... Kleasas are overrated, anyway ... Oh, and it's Wytch, ya hear? ;D The Wytch-King

Here's a question. How come GS could use the Mind Gem, another Shadakine artifact, but apparently couldn't use the Kazim Stone? Were the lesser magicks just not powerful enough? I would think if he could temporarily break it, he could tap it, but apparently not.

Ever since I typed this, all I can think of is Madame Leota from the crystal ball in the Haunted Mansion at Disney. Same one as in the movie. Does anyone else picture this similarly? I suppose Madame Leota is a bit more attractive. . .
