Which Lone Wolf gamebook is now rated as the most difficult to find for a collector wanting to purchase it?

I could say ALL of them, as they are no longer in print...but that's what PA is for...

The most difficult gamebook is The Buccaneers of Shadaki, if I remember correctly. In general, Books 21-28 are extremely difficult to find second-hand.
However, the hardest-to-find Lone Wolf book is . . . The Lone Wolf Poster Painting Book, which I have spent six years searching for, and I've still never found one for sale!

Outspaced is pretty much right on both counts--Buccaneers of Shadaki is the toughest gamebook to find (and commands a heavy price on eBay), and the Poster Painting Book is all but impossible to find.

I don't suppose it makes it any better when I say that I've had brand-new versions of Books 21-24 for years? I'm still kicking myself over not getting Books 25-27 when I had the chance (I got Book 28 secondhand).

Due to a lower-than-normal print run, #22 is hard to find. That's also one reason the price is so high when you do find it.
A close second is #28, which (from what I've heard) also had a low print run since the publisher had already decided to stop the series.
