Let's face it. There will NEVER be a Lone Wolf movie. Just like there will never be a Mystic Quest movie. Sounds ok to me. Hollywood would probably wreck it anyway. Yeah, they'd definitely wreck it. With Qinefer and everything. The only people who might have a chance of doing it justice are the Japanese, but we've already discussed that I guess.

LoL Well.... look at it like this: The Japanese have hardly any crimes (stealing, drugs, etc) in their country because the police are sp strict, and the houses are awesome looking. They have lots of games, anime, some US things, etc. What have WE got? A president dumber then a dumb... dumb guy.... thing. Our streets in most places are cluttered up with homeless people, and no offense, but half the stupid country is on welfare (I was, but that's cause I'm handicapped) and should get off their black asses and get jobs.... yeah I ain't racist, but geez...

Despite the fact that you are not racist, I think you should probably watch the "black asses" comment, because there's really no non-racist way to take that.
I think the bigger problem with Welfare is that it doesn't actually provide much support. And as for people getting off their asses to work... where? There's no jobs. And that's no lie. Especially out here on the West. Sure, I'm making it because I'm young, in college, living with my girlfriend, and getting lots of help from my parents. But add one more expense to that, like a child, or higher rent, and we'd have no options but to work 16 hour days at a McDonald's.

I'm not sure if the crime rate is low in Japan because of strict policing. I think if it is as low as you say, it's probably more to do with the society, which is much less individualistic than the West. Increased powers to governmental forces just ends up in a miserable police state like Hitler's Third Reich, Mussolini's Italy or the Soviet Union before Gorbachev in my opinion.

True, I guess. Then the Japanese must not have alot of crime like most countries.

One crime on the increase in Japan (or so I've read) is teachers beating up their students.

One crime on the increase in Japan (or so I've read) is teachers beating up their students. Well, in the Western civilization, one crime that is increasing is students beating up their teachers! And this is no joke: the number of agressions comitted by students on teachers increased a lot in my province in the recent years.

One crime on the increase in Japan (or so I've read) is teachers beating up their students. Reminds me a bit of the "...and that was just the teachers!" running punchline in Lee & Herring's tv show a few years ago, which nobody seems to remember but me.

Reminds me a bit of the "...and that was just the teachers!" running punchline in Lee & Herring's tv show a few years ago, which nobody seems to remember but me. Which one? Fist of Fun or TMWRNJ? "I am Simon Quinlank, and I am the King of Hobbies! Drink your weak lemon drink." "Hi! I'm Greg Evigan . . ." I'm getting too old.

TMWRNJ - they had a section called "lazy boring comedy slags" where they would take the pee out of lazy punchlines like "...and then I got off the bus!" and "...and that was just the teachers!".
Simon Quinlank was the greatest though... probably one of the funniest characters ever created. For those who don't know he was a homicidal psychopath who each week would present a new bizarre hobby, usually involving destroying various aspects of human civilisation, but always managed to use a flask of weak lemon drink in the process.
Alright, maybe it doesn't sound so great when you explain it, but it was hilarious at the time.
I caught Stewart Lee's standup a few weeks ago, which was great - I thoroughly recommend everyone checking him out when he tours again.
