When playing Seventh Sense under Vista, the program crashes when I attempt to move from Book 1 to Book 2 after finishing Book 1.

Ugh. Vista is nothing but headaches. But at least it looks pretty! I assume this is with the Win98 compatibility mode set? I have no idea why it would crash like that... But have no fear, things will be happenly quite differently internally in the next version, and I anticipate that Vista issues will be largely resolved. Plus, I now have Vista in a virtual machine that I can test and develop the program on, to solve bugs.
Thanks for reporting the bug, Taryn. Nothing can/will be done at present, but I'll make sure this isn't an issue with the next release.

Glad that worked for you, and thanks for the compliment.
I've been putting a lot of effort into the new version, and it's really come a long way. It's actually pretty close to being able to play through a book... Not really anywhere close to release, but getting closer all the time.

Many thanks Dave! Had a pain to get this into work under Vista, hehe. Made a virtual 98, XP etc to try it out, copied the directory around. They even failed there. I then came to conclusion that I had changed the resolution and options, wiped the file for it, and to my surprise it even worked out of the box on my Vista x64 station. So far an amazing work! So not messing with the config file is a good tip for you on Vista/W7

I'm glad you got it working. I'll be doing some testing to ensure that the new version doesn't require any fancy tricks to get it working in Vista...
