I thought I'd mention it here for people who haven't been over to the (French) Loup Solitaire forum... If you happen to be in Paris on May 16th, those good people at Le Grimoire have set up an afternoon dedicated to Lone Wolf (and RPGs in general) for the official release of 'Le Grimoire du Magnamund'. Link to the French page: - www.loup-solitaire.fr/forum-loup-solitaire/viewtopic.php?t=340 I'm one of the privileged few to have an advance copy of this tome in my sweaty paws... It collects translations of the supplements, 'The Magic of Magnamund' and 'The Darklands'. It also has 50-odd pages of only-in-France RPG material. Including: - - A map, history and detailed descriptions of the Kai monastery. - Descriptions of significant 1st and 2nd Order Kai lords. - An in-depth look at Vonotar's cult, the Sect of the Black Serpent. - Stats and bio on Vonotar. - 3 scenarios, 'The Sceptre of Ishir', 'Arjav, at the Gates of Eshnar,' and 'Murder in the Monastery'. - A new character class, 'Archer of Toran'. Good stuff.

Phew! Is there any hope of getting that French-exclusive material released in English at all? It sounds very, very interesting.

In short: maybe, but not yet. As I understand it, there are no plans for an 'official' translation (ie, sold by Mongoose). Possibly Le Grimoire will at some point offer their own downloadable translation. But from a commercial point of view, I'd be surprised if this happened before sales of 'Le Grimoire du Magnamund' began to slow down.
You could always check with Sébastien Boudaud on the Loup Solitaire forum, though (I've only ever communicated with Le Grimoire in French, but I think those guys speak decent English...).
