Hi guys We are running a LW multiplayer game (based on the LWMPGB) over at RPoL, and are looking for more players. The game plays off from the (Evil) Cener perspective, and revolves around the invasion of Ruel by the Freeland armies of Palmyrion, Lourden and Slovia. Players can play as a Cener Druid, Hammerlandese Rekenarim, Acolyte of Vashna, Helghast or Drakkar Assault Trooper. No previous experience in the multiplayer aspect is required - if you have read any of the LW books, you'll be able to play the MP version. Interested parties can check the game out, and send me a PM if they are interested in joining. rpol.net/gameinfo.cgi?gi=42545&date=1278484325

Well, I think I'm interested in that game, but, to be honest, I never played one and don't exactly know how does it works. Is it just like a Pen and Paper RPG but on a forum ? How much "active" do I have to be ? How much post per day ? How much "knowledge in Magnamund" do I need (I played the Book "Les Druides de Cener" (In French, Yes ^^) and other books ages ago, and my memory is not as good as when I was young ) ? Ghuntar.

Thanks Zipp!
@ Ghuntar: It's like a pen&paper RPG yes, but everything happens through the forums. Die rolls are automated (the site has a nifty function for that), and there are two main discussions going on: one in-character (IC), which follows the unfolding of the campaign itself, and a second out-of-character (OOC) discussion where all the 'behind the scenes' talking takes place.
As for active: I'm in the GMT +2 timezone, so I miss most of the US players. Europe is better aligned though, but the posting does not have to be insane - one or two posts a day, letting your character react to situations and reply to conversations, is normally more than enough.
As for Magnamund knowledge - for role-playing purposes, it is best if you know at least a little of the background of the type of character you are playing (Cener Druid, Acolyte of Vashna, etc), but having in-depth knowledge of EVERYTHING *cough* Honza *cough* johntfs *cough* is not required. The idea is to have fun and make your character unique and interesting.

Hey guys! To Zipp and Askhati i'd just like to say i love your games at rpol. they read really well and you both have some awesome players. a couple of posts have really impressed me.
just wanted to let you know that your games are great to read!
Also, i've seen mention of Xex's game multiple times but an unable to find it on rpol. :-( (my google-fu is weak) would someone be so kind as to offer a link so i can lurk that game as well? Thanks in advance!
p.s. is there any way i can view private messages in the games? or can you make them public once they are no longer required to be private. suspense and missing some things are killing me.

Hahaha! Well, my game has some suspense in, I admit... Like the fact that they are in a forest where everything (other players included) might kill them at the drop of a hat. Or like the fact that one of the player classes available is a Helghast - yet there are no Helghasts in the group...
Oh, and the library probably did not help either...
