That was one of the reasons I posted this here. I knew that Mr. Dever had given Project Aon the distributing rights to the online versions of his works, with the provision that no one try to use his work for profit, and this is the exact opposite. I didn't notice anything in the game, at all, that gave credit to ANYONE.
It begins with the newer canon from the Mongoose Publishing book, with Silent Wolf being trained at the Monastery, and having to escape Drakkar. After a few tutorial combats, you come to a sign that allows you to use Sixth Sense, and, while I cannot remember off the top of my head, I am pretty sure it is using text from the book, verbatim.
I'll see if I can get an app that allows me to take screenshots, so I can post them for you to see.
I am all for getting as much Lone Wolf as possible, in any medium, but not if it's going to go against the interests of the creator of Lone Wolf.

I have checked with the developer, and this is indeed fully endorsed by Joe.
(Edit: I've decided to reduce my posts in this topic down to just this summary!)

That's a relief. It isn't a terrible game by any means, but, it definitely is lacking the core of the appeal of the books. Instead of you BEING Lone Wolf, you're essentially guiding him. It's like when you play Super Mario Brothers; you don't actually FEEL like you're Mario.
The music is excellent, though. Once I have completed the game, I will post a review.

To be fair, not superduper overly impressed with this effort but at least it's keeping LW alive and well on a digital platform which is no bad thing. I find the controls very fiddly and the general gameplay kind of confusing. load times are a right royal pain and I'm running on a decent (1ghz+) CPU so the hardware is ok. Other people would probably enjoy it so while it might be a turkey, some people like turkey!

By the way - we have also confirmed directly with Joe that this is official. I've not tried it myself yet, but will try to do so - hoping Joe gets a cut of the commission

I bought two packs of jaffa cakes with the 82p I saved from not shelling out for the ad-free version. Am I the biggest skinflint on here?
