Aarontu, this is fantastic. I have always wanted to have more tools while playing the lone wolf adventures and these are great! I will print them out with your permission and use them as inserts? How about you do a details schematic of the Kai Monastery itself Great Work!!

Aarontu, great job! I've been trying to map the route from the Kai Monastery to Holmgard forever! I always give up, though, because the map at the front of the book can't be accurate with the text. Like Alema Bridge--it's not on the King's Highway. It's not even over the River Unoram. It's west of the highway (west of Trimis on the side of the road, without crossing it, I might add), and it spans a north-south tributary (meaning the bridge is oriented east-west). Normally, that would be easy to map out, even connecting the lake and marshy area to the Unoram, since that makes sense geographically, but NOWHERE does it describe Lone Wolf ever crossing the Uronam. Did this issue ever get addressed anywhere?

Did this issue ever get addressed anywhere? Thanks! The area around Alema bridge is the definitely the most confusing and, possibly, spatially-warped place in the book. To make a map work at all, I assumed that Lone Wolf in a few page sections must have followed along side or crossed over the King's Highway without the text saying so. I assumed Lone Wolf must have at some point crossed the highway so Trimis could be placed East of the bridge, and that you somehow cross the river without the text noting it if you continue South (I added a fallen log over the river at that point on the map). None of the other maps I've done so far have had an area nearly as messy as this.

None of the other maps I've done so far have had an area nearly as messy as this. The only way I ever found Trimis was if I found the highway and decided not to leave the trees so as to avoid the refugees seeing me. Then of course, the battle is westward. However you look at it, though, Alema Bridge can't be on the King's Highway, else there wouldn't be a flood of refugees, especially the merchant caravan farther south. (Did the coach avoid the bridge? And if so, why can't the Darklord's army, instead of fighting to cross the bridge?) And the battle noise would be quite audible as being "ahead" on the road, not through the trees. The only thing that makes sense to me, given what's actually in the text, is that the map in the front of the book is wrong. Edit: Sorry, my cursor keeps disappearing. Not used to BB posting without coding for quotes and such. Either that, or my computer is just too old...which is always a possibility anyway.

I may have to go through and see if I can redo the map so it matches with that. I think the collector's edition of FftD may have changed the way I looked at it, since the CE retconns Alema Bridge to be the main bridge over the River Unoram. (the new Maps of Magnamund do as well, but I'm not sure if they are really considered "cannon"?) Also, finally finished my map of Barrakeesh Palace from Shadow on the Sand! You can enter the palace from page sections 160 and/or 69.

I know that this thread is old but I wanted to thank the author for this amazing maps. Me and my group of players played book one and two as roleplaying adventures and we plan to play the other three of the first series. Too bad I didn't discover this thread before, since we got a bit confused around Alema bridge too, and your map would have been a great help! Well, I railroaded it a bit (shame on me I know) and got the players to the bridge anyway. But thank you very much for the Ragadorn map, it added a lot of fun to the session. If anyone is interested I took notes about where to find the numbered sections in book 2 for the many places in Ragadorn. I'll post it eventually. Thank you again, I'm sure the Ikaya map will add a lot to the next session!

I've been sitting on a half-finished map of Castle Death that I will put up someday.

Castle Death is finished. I've been sitting on unfinished drafts of it for about 3 years, and I finally got back into it and finished it. This one was the most difficult I've done since it covers the entire book instead of just a portion of a book. I put letters A, B, C, and D to show connections between the island map and the "Deep within Kazan-Oud" map. You can get to the "Snake pit" in a variety of ways (presumably Zahda's minions come across your unconscious body, wherever it is, and take you to the snake pit to be eaten).

Done with the town of Ikaresh from book 5. You arrive at the outskirts of Ikaresh on page section 247.
