I was wondering if there were any more fan-made Lone Wolf (or Magnamundian) gamebooks out there, since it's been a while since I saw one. The ones I'm aware of are :
• The Dark One by S.R. Shaw (all 7 chapters) • The Dark Before the Dawn by B. Olson • The Cordon of Holmgard by B. Olson • Destination Sommerlund by P.J. Witney • The Fires of Helgedad by P.J. Witney • The Vengeance of Vonotar by P.J. Witney • And the two Legendary Fights by Zipp
While I'm on the subject, does anyone know why there seems to be so few? Lone Wolf appears to be just as popular as Fighting Fantasy, if not more so, and there are dozens of FF amateur gamebooks all over the Web. So why not dozens of LW adventures as well?
(I'm aware that there are a few more in French.)

FF lends itself far better to one off books though, given the nature of worlds like Titan and the genre ranges of the gamebooks themselves. Whereas Lone Wolf has a specific and structured single world to try and mesh with.
And like any artistic creation, some get started but not finished.... easier to release other endeavours not fully completed, however a gamebook that is half finished is not really playable and has gaps in the narrative so can't even be considered a short story with a cliffhanger.
Things like the West Watch on TotS possibly took the place of trying and failing to get a gamebook started for LOne Wolf.

Those gamebooks mentioned here, where can I find them? also do you need Joe Dever's approval to do a Magnamundian book? I have written my own books but long time ago and only in Swedish, even if the adventure takes place in my own developed world it is much inspired by Magnamund.

The Dark One is referenced somewhere here on PA, not sure if a current download link was provided. The rest are linked around halfway down the first post here: daziarn.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=forge&action=display&thread=72And like any fan fiction, unless you get yelled at or are trying to make money from it, there's no reason not to post it
