That's a great comic! Never saw that before and read about 60 of them thus far. As you know, I'm a long-time FF fan, really getting a kick out of it! Thanks. ;D

I have been trying hypothetical paths for the Butcher Wolf challenge, and I must say, we are talking huge numbers. I left my research saved on the school computer, unfortunatly . Of course, even with 19/29 starting stats, the path needed is almost impossible, not to mention all the RN's needed to fall into place. Diciplines become somewhat of a probelm as well, but not in the normal way. Having the wrong diciplines becomes a nusance because they force you to miss combats! BTW, I remember this much, my chosen diciplines for the most combats: Book 1: Weaponskill(Pray for Short Sword) Mindblast Mindshield Healing Animal Kinship Book 2: Hunting Book 3: Mind over Matter Book 4: Camoflague Book 5: Tracking Book 6: Nexus Divination Curing Book 7: Huntmastery Book 8: Psi-screen Book 9: Weaponmastery: Sword, Warhammer, Short Sword Book 10: Psi-Surge Book 11: Pathmanship Book 12: Animal Control (Can't remember the rest all that well.) Not to sure about the last few, I went back and forth a lot over these, especially where Pathmanship and Divination would fit in in, and how late to put off Psi-Surge. I would need to see my notes to recall them fully. I do rememebr to get full kills in 13, you would need to bring Helshezag, leave the Sommerswerd behind, and not take Kai-Surge, giving you some very ugly Combat Ratios indeed. Like I said, the battles are near impossible. Still, a cool challenge.

These are the most bodies you can get in one run. (all the sections you fight in.) I count a kill as one where at least one random number is rolled, none of those " You jumped in, killling three before they could rise" kills allowed. However, if a combat has more then one enemy, and you can prove it. (X # of warriors attack you, and you must fight them as one enemy, for example), that counts as multiple enemies. I don't have an exact cound of kills, but it is well over two hundred, I think. BTW, if anyone sees problems, or is curious as to how I go through these sections in one path, tell me, I'll be glad to give explanations or change things. Especially if you find bloodier paths! ;D Enjoy!

Just curious: Why are you praying for Short Sword? - I don't see any reason for this for the Butcher challenge. Because it is one of the two weapons you can pick up from the street thieves in Ragadorn in book 2, giving you +2 for Ganon/Dorier, and it gives you +2 on the Sommerswerd until book 9, when you get Weaponmastery. Another good weapon is the dagger, because you can also get it from the street thieves, and it can be picked up really early in book 1, so you get the bonus for the rest of the book.

I got stuck with Warhammer, although it gave me an alternative to using the Sommerswerd once I got the Bronin Warhammer.

Warhammer, ugh! About the only good thing for that is that you pick it up after escaping from the cell in book 5; even then, that's not much of a benefit. Personally, I brought along the Sommerswerd until it was stolen in book 9; I kept in at home for the rest of the MagnaKai series and didn't pick it up again until book 14. It avoided a few fights in book 10 (Plus Tagazin, who you don't even get to kill!), and then in book 12 there's that who auto-kill on big baddie himself to think about. In book 13, I would have brought along Helshezag, +5 is better then nothing. (Of course, this is all hypothetical to this point, the RN's needed to get this route are impossible, to say nothing of the combats!)

I always have enough money to visit the weapons shop and pick up my weapon of choice anyway. -GB

I expect visiting the weapons store and, y'know, buying a weapon legally, cuts into your killing time... ;D Hey, if the text lets you fight the shopkeeper, it would add to the body count though! ;D
