Greetings, Lone Wolf fans. For some years there have been a trickle of requests coming in about our Javascript-based game-play aid Statskeeper. It was basically retired before the New Order series because it was a nuisance to maintain. A generous forum-goer has decided to resurrect Statskeeper and make it much more modern and user-friendly. It is currently in Beta and we are asking for bugs and general feedback about it. The project page is currently here: Statskeeper 2 (WIP) Please download it from the link on that page and give it a try. Post any feedback in this thread. Note that this completely replaces the existing (and venerable) statskeeper, so you can delete or rename that directory and replace it with the new one.

I don't think that link to a Baldur's Gate forum is correct?

Duh!!! That's what happens when you're in a hurry. OK, edited the link, so you can all try again.

Another release, possibly the final one. Please download the new statskeeper from the link in the first post in this thread and report back any problems.

Hiya, does this work on Android at all? Sorry if it's a dim question! Yes, it works on Android. If you face problems on Android, the in-game help leads you through how to run it specifically on that platform. Firefox: works with one browser setting change. Haven't tested it on Chrome, but it probably behaves just like Firefox. Native browser, Opera, Dolphin: requires some help to work. See the in-game help about Paw server.

Note that this completely replaces the existing (and venerable) statskeeper, so you can delete or rename that directory and replace it with the new one. If you have saved games, please make a note of all your stats and belongings before replacing Statskeeper. The information will not be automatically carried over. It is also recommended that you delete those saved games first, otherwise the two versions will be fighting for the same space to save the cookies and you may face errors.

BUG: "12-gauge" is spelled "12-guage" in the Freeway Warrior version of the Weapons tab! Should also probably be "shells" instead of "bullets" for that ammo type on the generated sheet. I'd personally like to see the position of rifle and shotgun ammo swapped (so shotgun is the far right) if possible, since that's the order they are in the books (in order of "bullet weight"). ALSO: Is this on the main Statskeeper page? I can only see an online link for a new version (which is seemingly broken for me as it's Flash) and zip downloads for the old version. No mention of this fantastic update at all! I only discovered this existed searching the forum, looking to see if there was a Statskeeper version for Freeway Warrior since the main (old version) download zip doesn't have one but I found one on my HDD (I think now I made it myself years ago, and would happily share it for those who prefer/need the old Statskeeper).

Hi. I developed this version. This Statskeeper was never released. Not sure why. Probably the gatekeepers of this project preferred a different direction. Thanks for pointing out the bugs. You may have already finished the books by now. If you are familiar with HTML, you can make the spelling and placement changes yourself. If not, I can tell you where to change them, or find a way to send you updated files. Since no further updates will be coming for this, your changes won't ever be overwritten.

Nevermind, see the alternative and am using that. Yes, that's probably why this version was never released. I haven't used the other versions (because I developed my own) but did you know that the combat calculations in the original Statskeeper were terribly wrong? Very heavily loaded against the player.

hah, I did not know that. I did a mix of round-by-round RN generation, actually doing the "pencil to paper" technique (yes, I do have a sense of where better #s are, but I didn't ALWAYS land on 8 or 9) and using the statskeeper. I feel like the RN generator and combat resolution even in the new system are a little off. I also use extended combat table from the Newsletter 29 now because I'll have 5 round fights with an enemy 24 CS lower than me.

Hello. I've just downloaded the statskeeper from www.projectaon.org/en/Simon/StatskeeperWIP and it doesn't seem to save the character correctly, i.e. the saved file doesn't survive browser restart. It must be something with cookies but I'm using Firefox and there saving cookies from local html should work. Does anyone have the same problem?

I like the way Statskeeper looked when it was still on the site: - Now, opening it puts a horizontal bottom frame with the statskeeper (the top half occupied by the book itself) while you got the frames side by side before. - It was more full of pictures before also (with the picture of the weapons we had also). Where can I find these old versions which were running on the site before? Thank you!
